Are you using 1.2.1.6192? It will be displayed on the bottom right of the Main Menu screen. It was updated this morning. Use the Update icon in the DCS entry of the windows start menu.
Nate
FPS should be restored to 1.2.0 levels or better for high settings, and improved 20% over 1.2.0, for low settings in 1.2.1.6192.
Stutter, other than disk access stutter, is significantly improved over 1.2.0 too.
Nate
It is on the list of a Million other things to do :) It isn't being ignored.
EDIT:-BTW FPS should be restored to 1.2.0 levels or better for high settings and improved 20% for low settings in 1.2.1.6192

You get those sounds and drop in performance, as the engine dies from overheating. If the engine is overstressed but remains cool enough it can still throw a rod = instant engine death.
Also as I've discovered recently running at too cool a temperature can be just as catastrophic.
Nate
This is intentional. It is one of the main reasons that real pilots never over fly targets, as there is potential to get struck by rounds you've fired.
Nate
Not to me - the planes were transferred to the DCS environment used for BS1. Show me where it says this will be maintained for future DCS environments.
Matt has mentioned it in a few places I think. As for proposed features who knows, CA1 has yet to be completed.
Nate
No not really, I need the DCS.log that contains those times from the server. I need to see why I kept getting the "Connection interrupted" message - I'll try again tonight when its busier.
