  1. Thanks for the update. I appreciate it. Although I knew you would come through eventually. :)
  2. I have this this happen from time to time as well. Sometimes they just won't connect air, or power and it's not because the canopy is closed, or the intercom is set wrong either. As you can imagine it makes it impossible to start up the plane when this happens.
  3. I would also be forced to drop it if they were to switch to such a model. I would hate to do it, but I would out of principle. I have to pay enough in rent just to have a place to live and am not about to start paying to rent games too. If ED really needs a future cash flow, then they should go make a clone of those P2P arcade flight games and put the subscriptions and microtransactions on that. Use the money gathered there to fund the development of DCS World. And or charge a small fee for major version upgrades of the base software and major updates of modules.
  4. Definitely will be keeping a close eye on this.
  5. A couple of hours for me. Alot of that was familiarizing myself with the cockpit, going through the checklist and trying to tweak performance of the simulator though.
  6. It sure is. It is by far my most flown module too. Totally worth the money. :)
  7. Yup. Rolling back to 2.5.5. It was a mistake to update it.
  8. I should add that if I go into fast mission, generate and then edit the mission. Moving the plane back to the ramp and then proceeding into the game seems to work for me.
  9. I get this problem too. It almost always gets stuck on the map screen when choosing create fast mission. It also often freezes when trying to quit back to the main menu. Tried repairing DCS. Tried deleting shaders (for whatever good that would do) But it didn't have any effect.
  10. I'm pretty sure I've encountered this before too. But since I started double checking the settings at the IP. I haven't seen it happen since. I figure Jester must've been messing something up after I switched out of A/G mode.
  11. I can assure you that it does work atleast some of the time. I got myself into a spin being reckless and followed that exact advice about breaking out and it worked. The nose pitched down and I was able to regain control just seconds away from slamming into the ground.
