  1. I think it's called 3M reflective tape.. should be available locally. I actually have/ had a TiR2 pro- with a few dots.. Thing is.. I packed it in a box because some moe-ron agreed to buy it from me, then couldn't come up with the $20.. Now- I'm about to move and I may have just thrown it out... Will look.. If I find them, and you are in the US- I'll mail em to you no charge... but go on trying to buy it locally while you're at it.. I can't promise you that I'll be able to find it..
  2. ^^ Yes. Better to do it now while you are new- unless one of the mods can have it fixed. They delete dozens of spammer posts & accounts here everyday. Some are "bots" many are live spammers.
  3. On a somewhat unrelated note- if that username is your real email address- I think I'd recommend changing it...

  5. CHina hat FWD long
  6. If it makes you feel better Speed- Several planes (like the C130 for example) have a small nosewheel steering wheel in the cockpit with a suicide knob on it. That steers the way you like. :D
  7. We did this last night- it was hardly organized- more like- S77th-SunShine:"I can has lzr point kthx ??" TGP: "No. No chzburger 4-U" (Blame Etherealn for that) ;) So for lack of options available to take out target- we set up a somewhat panicked attack run... His laser was malfunctioning due to likely damage to TGP.. I had the target set as SPI- I datalinked him, and he does the same. He lined up and let the bomb go- (I assume in CCRP- as normal) While the bomb was in the air- I spun around to get the target more or less in front of me- fired the laser (latch on) and his bomb hit it squarely. that's it... nothing too fancy to do as far as I can tell..
  8. I *think* B17 Bomber on Intellivision.. Some DOS Chopper game... hung out with a few Navy Electronics techs and we played that when at sea... Dabbled in MSFS #.. um... some low number... can't remember... same type of putzing around in MSCFS2 Pacific . Tried MP- didn't work to well. (AOL at the time) But my first sustained long term multiplayer war-fightin'-waste-layin'-Oh-my-god-it's-Konny flight game was Nova F22 Raptor / Lightning 3 KønKuŞŞiøN \PR/ I came here to KicK AsS and CheW BuBBleGum.......... . . . . . . and I'm aLL out of BuBBleGuM

  10. Everything except the axis- yes. Assign axis in DCS.
  11. I doubt it could for long... but at any rate BBQ- does this behavior recur in a different mission (and/ or after a restart?) Or in the same mission for that matter- but this time- just get the plane into a state where taxiing is possible.. Then.. I don't see what your controller is.. the next part is probably to confirm that the controller is responding correctly in a test screen- either windows control panel or within the stick's software...
  12. hmmm haven't tried it TBH.. not for testing that exact thing.. It will hold it back for a short few seconds, though. Where MTF & I were going is basically- review your brakes axis'. Make sure they are where they're supposed to be, and confirm that the "invert" box is checked in the axis tune. Why it would change if you didn't muck with it is beyond me- this is mainly the "verify the simplest things first" approach to diagnostics..
  13. Yes- have you recently added rudder pedals? (or unplugged/ replugged them in?) or changed the brake axis assignment? Anything related to that at all?
  14. Ghost- just a suggestion: Try to separate different issues into different threads so that a larger number of informed eyes see it- and can render assistance..
  15. Kon's smooth TiR5 profile.. konlomac.zip
  16. Do you mean you cannot set the SPI at all? If so- are you sure that "TMS fwd" is assigned and functioning?
  17. Sure man. Getting started with all new gear can be a load... Same thing happened to me when I ditched Saitek for CH. Major frustration for a couple weeks or more.
  18. Yep- Setting the HOF to 1200-- it's like magic in the forest.
  19. Baker is a professional Troll guys- No need to respond to him- IMO... I mean obviously feel free to waste your keyboard paint..
  20. Vacation time... :banned:
  21. FC2 is a good choice to learn the very basics of flight, the setup of controllers, and a VERY VERY basic familiarization with weapons and their systems in the cockpit. Learn FC, and learn it well- but try not to tattoo it onto your lobe so permanently that you can't transition to DCS. DCS is as close to real as it gets- and getting closer. FC is "EXTREMELY" limited in avionics modeling. There's a lot of creative liberty in use to fill in the modelling gaps of all FC planes and their systems- especially weapons & sensors. I recommend you spend some time in the Froggies to gain experience with the advanced flight model- which is still pretty kick ass even with DCS out there.
  22. No ETA- often a taste of features can be found in the official updates forum, Twitter, & Facebook.
  23. I've always had a soft spot for the Intruder... who doesn't love a carrier-borne bomb truck..
