whutdahhell..... The only time I can think of where this may have happened to me was within the past couple of weeks- I joined up on Tyger's, and found the mission paused.. Problem is- I was alone in there, so I have no way to know if this is your issue on display- or if someone forgot to unpause the mission. That said- I was able to join another with no problem- and I have joined Tyger's again since then with no problem.. I guess that supports the "forgot to unpause" hypothesis So- I guess my point is- maybe Tyger can contribute to the search.. I tried to find the date I emailed him about it... I must've cleaned up my gmail....

The next fighter is likely predicated on what Eagle gets work for- regardless of what's "fair" and regardless of where it hails from. You might see 3 more US fighters in a row. You might see 4 Russian- made fighters in a row.. You might not see a damn thing for a while because they are getting work for things they do not believe will sell in the civilian market.. Personally I'm fine with just about anything after this one- because chances are decent it will be a relatively modern- or recently modernized- platform we are familiar with.. but--- let it come to pass that we get... well... actually the number doesn't even matter. EACH module will have a faction of whiny children bitching about it in tow.. It's happening now and all we have is an extremely interesting bit of evidence supporting it's potential ID..

I think that for right now- zero altimeter out for takeoff for landing at a different airport-- n/a-- not enough info provided to really mess with it. after this patch- zero it out for takeoff. For landing you should be able to set the altimeter to the pressure given in the "inbound" callback.. If I'm not correct- please correct me in simple terms- applicable to DCS. While I do appreciate the RL technical info- giving out all that with no reference materials, and in the abscence of that detail in DCS ATC modeling-- honestly it's just confusing at this stage..

I don't know about your hardware- but the obvious background questions are: Confirm the TGP is SOI and that a SPI has actually been set- TMS up long.. This is mainly to see if it's just the china hat not responding..

Not a chance. Plus- this is simulation for serious hobbyists for the most part- You should know that this genre requires not only a good machine- but a variety of controllers, plus significant dedication & study- read: investment of time and yes- a fair bit of money, too. Not saying this is you- but if you are a "casual gamer" or more into the Xblox type stuff that can be mastered in 10 minutes-- DCS might not be the best $ you ever spent. People that get bored and move on to the next thing in 6 months probably don't have the right gearing for this. I hope you do buy it and enjoy it- but you need to understand what it is.

No account needed.. just bookmark the page and read it. I don't have an account either. I signed up for SMS alerts too- no information submitted.. But the SMS alerts don't seem to be working reliably... I got the initial setup, then the latest post when I signed up yesterday. Then got 1 more yesterday.. Today- 2 posts- nothing came through for either. Texted to 40404 again today- we'll see if it works..

I don't Twit myself... Tweet... whatever. But just passing on that ED's twitter account page doesn't seem to update-- example: See- it says 11 minutes ago- and has said that for at least 3 hours.. it's 15:30 eastern now. Also- I never got the SMS for it. Signed up for those yesterday- got 2 welcome texts, and of course- the last entry. When the next Twit arrives- that's when it seems to timestamp the previous entry with what I assume it the right time.. Just passing it on for what it's worth..

Excellent idea. Logged on as a spectator- but able to see into a chosen cockpit & discuss it live/ in real time. However- it would need the ability to be turned on & off for obvious cheatin' reasons..
