Using your jammers will effect the range at which the Shilky lights you up. With jammers on by the time he's on your RWR he's on the verge of opening fire.

Unless it's located within a city/ town.. Seen plenty of interference with buildings kind of taking over. Despite the vehicle being visibly hotter on screen- buildings do sometimes overwhelm the camera and make it hard to lock up. Approach from different angle.

I'm pretty sure that it runs fine- you only need the "7" starforce driver update... If I'm wrong there will be plenty of posts saying so..

You could open up a 1.02 room on hyperlobby- see how many other 1.02ers show up. You'll need to include 1.02 in your server description, or the rest of us on 1.12 will assume your room is screwed up if we can't join it. There's a lot of differences in the add on. Sufficient for me to say that you're training, practicing and flying on enough system & procedure errata to REALLY mess with your mind (get yer azz kicked) when you eventually do upgrade. Why would you want to learn on the wrong stuff? Take the new jamming environment for example. This alone is COMPLETELY different and you'll be lost referencing what you know about jamming strategies in 1.02 .

Stick with a default loadout in the server missions' payload screen and you should be fine. Zero tolerance for illegal use of LOPE. Period. Servers are using a realism mod that -among other trhings- makes it instantly obvious to everyone on the server if you're doing something you shouldn't. Could be anything from displaying public server messages to your ejection seat deploying when you use something illegal

Thanks! Looks like my trusty TiR2 just ain't what it used to be.. Having a hard time getting it to track to the left properly. No matter where I placed the cyclops eye.. it just wouldn't cooperate. Finally- Moving the monitor a bit closer helped some, but it's still not like it was before. It's never been this tempermental. Might be time to replace her. NP made it pretty clear they weren't planning to rewrite Vista drivers for hardware this old. I've also decided to keep a folder of modded replacement files like Kuky's ground model LOD fix, Graphics file for widescreen setup, etc for quick access after a reinstall. Too much shit to remember... Heh took me about 4 hours to iron out changes in defaults, key assignments, etc What else should I have in there? Don't really mean things like moon mods, bloom effects, etc. Just tweaks that have been deemed beneficial/ needed corrections

First- highlight the entire lock on folder. Right click\properties\ remove the read only flag\ apply. Turn OFF the UAC's in control panel. If that doesn't work- copy the file to your desktop, make the edits, then delete & replace the file.

My OS (V-32) was pretty polluted from normal use, but also had some corruption from the get go. Caused longtime nagging mouse & internet connection issues.. My Daughter physically destroyed my front USB/ audio phonojack module. I mean- killed it. Looked like she took a chisel to the right side USB port... yes she's still alive. :wallbash::Flush::ranting: Because of the pre existing mouse & modem problems caused by the initial corrupt install- I had the builder wipe the OS. Turned out to be a good idea- as I was able to also replace the front USB module, added 2 more BADLY needed USB's on the back at the same time. During their normal course of stress testing & updating- one of my HD2900 XT's developed a fault. Since they had no replacements available to them- I ended up with a complimentary pair of 1 GB HD 4890's instead :D All in all- a nice trip to the depot if I do say so myself... Haven't reinstalled LOMAC or my flight gear yet- but I'll be along shortly. See some of you in HL once I'm back up.. BTW now running on 20/5 FioS. Before I unplugged- I confirmed that I was able to join games both direct and through HL. However, I was not able to confirm hosting ability. I didn't have to do anything to this router to join, so hopefully I can host without configuration, too.

You will have to do that within the programming software. Possibly by way of "advanced commands", where you can set up bands in which the "w" key is repeatedly pressed with increasing frequency for each band. (I'm using terms from an old SST version that came with my X45's- may not be applicable anymore) CH products utilize custom scripts. While it is a bit touchy- the progressive toe braking works great. It's not separated left & right, but better than not having it.

try the D's. Not enough image contrast for the K's to lock on. I know you can lock them thermally.

The demo did not have the separate cannon/ launch buttons- That came in 1.02 I think.. You are not following the procedures to launch a weapon. The cannon must be powered OFF- and you usually need a target locked and within the missiles' envelope.

Hey all. I have an opportunity to switch from Comcast to Verizon FiOS, and I'm looking for any first hand user info/ opinions about it. I have the fiber box in my yard already. Specifically- Fios comes with a router, (called a "wireless router"- but this is supposed to be for add'l computers- not the main one.) What I want to know is- have you had to configure this for online play? Was it a PiTA? ANything I need to know? The published specs for FiOS are 20/5 MBPS. Comcast is supposed to be 6/1 however mine seems to be faster than this pretty consistently (often closer to 10 MBPS down) My main reason for considering this is the HDTV package, but they are offering me $99 for both...

I read that production of the 50 did resume -but only 5 more 50's were built before it was stopped again. Or resources were "reallocated" to the 52, something like that... Maybe you have antivirus holding you up, or an improperly configured router/ firewall. Regardless- a 1/2 second + ping will likely lose connection all on it's own. An admin would have little choice but to have you leave the room. You've got to be warping all over the place- and someone else engaging you would see some crazy ****
