You CAN set a "zoom view" axis in lockon to a rotary or a button on your flightstick- however results vary. This axis did not get along well with older Saitek products- there was a horrible "shaking" (rapid, small zoom in/out). Try it out- see what happens. I found that it was better to skip the axis, and program it t my stick with the button commands. I have a TiR2 Pro- so no zooming for me on that.

The zoom view on your track ir is not a LOMAC axis. You enable it on the TiR software. The various view axis vary depending on the game ans your TiR like has already been noted. The zoom didn't come about at all until TiR3 I think. Assuming you have a 3 or better- Only LOMAC FC recognizes the zoom. LoMAC 1.02 or older sees yaw/ pitch only. SO- if you have a TiR3 or better, and you have FC, look in your TiR software, and turn the Z axis on.

Sorry, but it's best to use the LOCK on menus for AXIS only, and the SST software for your buttons.

I use a 60 HZ SamSung 216BW (21.6") w/ a 5 ms response. Response is critical- I'm not sure at which speed that ghosting & blurring become an issue, but I seem to remember that we used to discuss this during the thrust of the "transition" it seemed to me that 12 ms was right there at the cusp..

Vista? Make sure EVERYTHING is set to "run as admin". Hyperlobby, LOMAC What type of antivirus/firewall you have? Norton used to be problematic, as did zonealarm.

check your connection speed settings in the connect menu. Try 128/128.

If you are running Vista 32 bit- you MUST run EVERYTHING "as administrator" PERIOD. No exceptions. Lock on Stick profiling software like Saitek SST, Foxy, & CH manager Track IR profiling software Hyperlobby Teamspeak Ventrilo Right click the desktop icon select properties check the run as admin box It's also not a bad idea to choose "xp service pack 2" for the compatibility mode

Why not use the ministick set up with key commands? FWIW- I used a combo of a mapped "shift" with the ministick for scan cone, and the ministick alone for TDC slewing.
