I don't know why it would do that all by itself- but can you clear & reset the axis?

104th's Record Breaking Meeting Turnout!
S77th-konkussion replied to AustinN360's topic in Multiplayer
Whoops.. Glad I hesitated. If it ain't broke.. -
Did the A10 (all of them- if more than one) land safely as well? Did you cross all the waypoints? I haven't flown offline for 5 minutes since the release of the game- but I seem to remember stuff like this affecting campaigns. I also remember that one of the F15 missions would simply freeze & crash- it was a documented problem that may or may not have been corrected in susequent patches.. Could have been a single mission or a campaign.. .. :dunno:

Problem with new monitor
S77th-konkussion replied to BrzI's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
ehhhmmm .. try this. http://konkussion.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=lomac&action=display&thread=37 I must say- I don't often hear of this being the solution to crashes- just a solution from looking goofy and out of sorts. But I can remember at least one other guy that was crashing left & right and he said this fixed it... whatever. -
try deleting the entire lock on folder from within windows explorer..

15 inch monitor?? **cold shivers.. nausea... :puke: reference: http://konkussion.webs.com/lockonmac.htm You might want to start over- reinstall, and update it. You should update it ALL THE WAY, but that's a different conversation. It's not so much the monitor size, it's more what your display properties are set to. Right click anywhere on your desktop (not on an icon) and go into properties, or CAT control center or Nvidia (depends on your graphics card.) Determine the resolution you have the desktop set to. example 1024x768 Make changes if you want- just note the new resolution. Go into LOMAC main menu / options. Flip the virtual rotary switch to "graphics" Select the resolution that matches your desktop. If there is no matching selection (unlikely on a 15 inch monitor) uh oh.. mmphh ... :puke: anyway.. Then follow the instructions CAREFULLY on this thread: http://konkussion.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=lomac&action=display&thread=37

TrackIR or pedals?
S77th-konkussion replied to ArtMan_NL's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
If you must choose- choose track. Get pedals when you can, though -
yeah- it's making changes to the option that frig it up. One thing you can do is have the TiR on & running when you go into options. It seems to prevent the bug.

Crunch- the game moved to the right column- Thanks. What if anything - do I need to do with the check boxes?

Just got Lock On via eBay! One question...
S77th-konkussion replied to digital_steve's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I have yet to see a laptop run it without a significant struggle.. -
OK tried to add LOMAC to the Alchemy List. It says unable to copy files. Here's what I have: I have left the registry path blank-- I have C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\LOCKON.EXE in the game path line, What about "install into subfolder" (check box and path) Install into root and subfolder (check box) Settings: Buffers (4) Duration (25) Max voice count (128 ) (CHeck box) Disable Direct Music
-
ahh thanks. Just like setting up HL, then
-
Hmm me neither.. Should work fine.. Check the button conflict anyway and try again. F12 is used in LOMAC, I know. It's also used in explorer 8 for "developer tools" so If you have any explorer windows open for some reason... This might be a good time to ask if there's a way to kill this feature..
-
Now that I have it installed- anything specific I need to do with it?
-
aaaaaaannnndd cut me off for the night. I never heard anyone say "last call"..
-
What is F12 assigned to in-game? You must clear any in game functions from a key that another application is trying to use to avoid a conflict. Then do a default centering to establish the center of trackable space. If you wish to sync to a point other than this- move your head a little in the opposite direction of where you want to end up, then re-center again. When you relax your head to it's original position- the view will be closer to what you want.

is it just me- or is there nowhere I can download Alchemy? I've been on creatives site for an hour- no download link.. Nevermind.. damn. Trying their best to hide it.

LockOn: Flaming Cliffs
S77th-konkussion replied to InFireBaptize's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Yes, but it must be emphasized-- make SURE you download & install the CORRECT 1.12 patch. It is distinguished by which MEDIA your Flaming Cliffs is. It sounds like you have (or will have) the digital download of FC- so you need the patch for the downloaded version. Simple. You can buy and download the FC add-on anytime. The patch is free- so go ahead and download the right patch too. When you get your CD- install it, and you'll have the 2 pieces ready to go. -
Announcing Flaming Cliffs 2.0
S77th-konkussion replied to Wags's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Cmon, man. It's right there in the FAQ. First post. -
How beezarre... Never seen a program malfunction due to too much space..

Right click the desktop icon select properties check the run as admin box Choose "xp service pack 2(or 3)" for the compatibility mode. You might notice that HL is also missing several textures- Since Jiri is no longer interested in supporting HL, and has also deleted the forums for some reason- I had to dig this up from way back.. Having this missing texture problem? http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=18392&d=1216604016 To fix- you have to modify a file in the hyperlobby folder. YOu'll have to turn off UAC's or Vista may require you to copy this file to your desktop, etc to modify it. After you would then delete the old one from the folder & replace it with your modified one. Right click the start button, and select explore: C:\Program Files\HyperLobbyPro3\skins\default Open the config file called SKIN with NOTEPAD. You will see several lines containing series of 3 periods [...] Anywhere you see those 3 dots, delete one of them. Yes- 2 dots should remain. [..] Type Ctrl+H Put [...] into the "Find what" box. Put [..] into the "Replace with" box. Click the "Replace all" button. Save and close.
