this is ocurring in other planes like F16? did you tried against SAMs if then are more prone to ECM interference? -

Hi evryone, after the yesterday update the DTC gained a new threat config, @NineLine or @BIGNEWY is there an explanation how this works? This new config only regards to RWR priority and ECM response or you can change an indication to "U" on RWR?

I used the function restore to manufacturer options during a repair, which should be a clean install, and the hud bug still persists -

You are right, the thunder game has better IR missile simulation, for now at least. Even though the early missiles are pretty easy to defeat, with 4 to 6 puff of flares almost every missile from B to P5 can be defeated in rear aspect as shown in the attached tracks. Again, pay attention to motor heat outuput and the missile fov and try to flood it with flares, is not just like rolling a dice it has other variables taken into account AIM9 B.trk AIM9 J.trk AIM9 P.trk AIM9 P3.trk -
Hi everyone, after some testing I can assure that IRIST sam is not working as a IOG+IR missile, it is working as any other sam in the game that needs line of sight between TR and the TGT. Track and Tacview attached. Tacview-20250814-105235-DCS.zip.acmi IRIST works like a SARH SAM.trk

This seems odd, because I can consistently dodge mordern missiles like R73 and AIM9M using some tatics like droping flares at the missile FOV, furthermore, even AIM9X can be spoffed preflaring at missile FOV. Missile aspect is important also in those engagements. -

Hi everyone, I was testing some stuff and noticed that the YJ12 missile was inducing some odd responses on USA naval units. The tracks attached shows that in low number the YJ12 can be tracked and destroyed by Sm2ER launched from ships, but in high numbers the missile seems to jam the ship's radar and therefore the SM2ER can not be lauched to intercept. The thing that you are describing is an energy defense manuveur right? You are making the missile spend its energy into Gs, but this is not possible inside NEZ because the missile has plenty of energy to intercept you. It only works when there is no sufficient atmosfere to change missile direction based on its velocity, in this case despite energy state there is no air enough to change missile direction to the intercept vetor. -
