I would like to add to this, harm is also not making smoking accordingly to temp and altitude. @BIGNEWYno news on that?

reported earlier Datalink issue with dynamic spawn
Red_Camarada replied to Red_Camarada's topic in Bugs and Problems
Thanks -
Hi everyone since the last patch (2.9.7.59074) I'm noticing that the datalink is very unstable in multiplayer, specially using dynamic spawn slots. To reproduce it is simple, just spawn in a dynamic slot. If needed I can provide tracks.

Hi everyone, I was playing a mission yesterday and noticed that the smoke trail from SAM missiles does not change according to air temp just like the air launched missiles (AIM120 and AIM9), is this intended or a bug ?

Hi everyone, I was looking to other games and noticed that the thunder game is able to export much more info regarding sensors from missiles and planes, it is possible to have something similar here in DCS? It will add a lot to the game, since some times we during the learn curve is only able to guesstimate where as the sensors are looking and most of the time miss important clues to better learn the airplane and weapons sensors.

Hi everyone, I was trying the new FM and guidance of SCUD missiles and noticed that the smoke does not change due to temperature variations like other missiles does, is simples like that, the SCUD missile goes up and no smoke trail is addded due to the lower ATM temperature. If you want to I can post a track but I don't think its necessary.

same, here Im just seing the full price with no discount

The focus here is the randominess, there is no stable tactics to avoid a specific type of missile. AIM-9M should have a INS guidance coupled with the IR sensor, despite the first flare can make the sensor dumb, it will shut down the sensor and predict the trajectory for a second later making the sensor ON again and guiding to the IR signature of the TGT. This type of thing is not moddeled in DCS but it is in another, "less simulation", game. Making every heatseeker fulled moddeled could change the gameplay, change a better game.

Same here, the mk series bombs does not seem to work with other than the standart fuze, the 139 and 152 does not trigger the desired results. Is there a table or manual on which fuze must be used on each bomb?

no comments on this @BIGNEWY or @NineLine?

Hi everyone, during the past weeks I noticed that the IR seekers are pretty op. The IR signature of the airplanes are the same in milpower and iddle making it unecessary to change the motor output in order to defeat IR missiles, it does only change from AB to milpower. Furthermore, the flares working as RNG are unreliable, I saw some guys take a aim9-p in iddle droping 20 flares, while others in milpower dodge a missile dropping only 2 flares. WarThunder has a better IR simulation than DCS, why we cannot have something more realistic than a RNG flare system and 2 IR signatures per plane?

I tried the different fuze options both in JDAM and MKseries, none of then seems to work, air burst does not explode in air, 15min delay fuze does not explode or explode in contact (0s), so this is not working like it should right?

Thanks @Flappie and @NineLine, everything seems fine

[WIP] ChinaAssetPack. HHQ-9 cold launch effect added
Red_Camarada replied to Kondor77's topic in Chinese Asset Pack
Sure? after the latest patch, it was working properly in my tests -
Thanks for the reply, I will test it again after the next update

After today's patch I noticed that SA5 has this odd tracking, it starts to 'wiggle wiggle', not gaining speed and miss the target odd_SA5.trk

HHQ-9 and HQ-16 missiles are indeed accelerating with no aerodymanic boundries. I was able to reproduce it.

HHQ-9 and HQ-16 missiles suffers from the same problem, as demonstrated in the track below. Both missiles now are hypersonic. HHQ-9 and HQ-16.trk
