  1. Sorry it’s my fault :( I forget to remove those recon screens. I was trying to load the good screen with the good target when it was selected but I was not able to do it (I’m not a programmer :( ) Next version I will remove them ;) unless someone is able to make the good lua code (targets may have changed since I made these screens ) Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk

  4. With today's DCS update I will have to add SEAD missions to Hornet so new versions of both PG and Caucasus Hornet campaigns will come as soon as possible :doh:
  5. New DCE campaign :) : Hornet over Caucasus-CVN : You will take off and land on CVN-74 Stennis. Part of readme.txt : Specification for starting mission on the CVN Stennis deck : don't ask for taxi : -2 FA-18C on deck or a 4 F-18 mission : when you are ready, move quickly to the rear of the CV deck before wingmen move. After that let them move to their launch place then you can can move to the right front catapult -4 FA-18C on the deck but only a 2 FA-18C mission : Move to the left front catapult directly, Number 2 will use the left back catapult... IMPORTANT NOTE : You will need US Navy Deck Equipment Mod that you will find here : https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3301580/?sphrase_id=14748274
  6. No I don't think so :) There are not any big changes in DCE files yet. Look at the oob_air.lua file in your Status folder (all files in it are relatives to the campaign you are flying) to see if FA-18C squadron missions are Strike, CAP, Sweep, Escort = true. If not change it there. Antiship strikes are not working with AI so I disabled it for FA-18C. Then you can use Skipmission.bat and see if you have strikes missions (I have some :thumbup: ). Ai sometimes attack targets with Mav or Bombs ... wait IP waypoint to order them to attack target and rejoin (or RTB) It seems more difficult for them to attack by night (can't see target ? ) In Mission planner I change Target waypoint altitude to 0 ft (it adapts to real altitude) may be it helps AI to find target ? I made a Hornet over Caucasus - CVN campaign with a second CVN for Tomcats to be ready for its coming :thumbup: (They only have CAP missions now because AI Tomcats are unable to take off from CV :( ). Enemy fighters are really more aggressives than in PG campaign :music_whistling: If someone is interested ...

Sometime DCS updates break DCE but sometime I make errors too :music_whistling: My last error was when I made my own Hornet over Caucasus -CVN version : I forgot that the changes made to allow carrier operations specified that Airbases ID over 20 will be considered as carriers ... I had lots of bugs :music_whistling: It took me 2 days to discover this simple mistake :doh: It seems that last DCS update changed air to ground AI management ....

My main problem with PG theater is the lack of usable Iranian airbases :( I think that it's really difficult to have enough planes in squadrons to allow DCE to find enough planes to prepare lot of Intercept missions. It's possible too that US CAP are too efficient and kill all interceptors ... I will try to look at this problem as soon as possible. You can try to look at db_loadouts.lua file and change "sortie rate" for all iranian planes in intercept loadouts... Please tell me if it changes something for you

  10. I agree that DCE campaign always need to be edited when played MP. It works really good in offline mod. Can it be possible to have only a pilot logbook saved for each main plane human piloted so that we can keep track of each pilot participating in one campaign ? I think that online players are able to edit missions to allow MP with solo missions (at least with 4 planes) but it would be cool if DCE could keep a log of each human pilots in a campaign with simple stats (like it is now) :thumbup:

  13. Well, I firstly used the Mbot's Nevada meteo settings because I'm not really sure how the settings work. You can try to change the weather settings : weather = { --campaign weather pHigh = 100, --probability of high pressure weather system pLow = 0, --probability of low pressure weather system refTemp = 38, --average day max temperature }, in the camp_init.lua file in the Init folder :thumbup:

  17. The "best way" to lose those campaigns is to lose nearly all the planes of your squadron :music_whistling: With your Hornet squadron you can lose the campaign if your CV is sunk too...

  20. There is... but it needs mission edition after each mission generation : there’s a bug with AI spawning and taking off from LHA-Tarawa. You need to put player plane in fourth position and wingman 2 in first position. When you ask for engine start to ATC the AI will take off immediately then you can initiate your starting procedure... not sure everybody want to do it ?!? Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  21. F-14 are really difficult to beat ! I killed one in my AV-8 DCE campaign but it was pure luck : I avoided 2 Phoenix and a Sparrow at very very low altitude, Escort M-2000C came to help me and I was able to fire my sole Sidewinder to a Tomcat I killed :music_whistling: For other FA-18C on the deck you must look at the mission briefing to see if other missions are planned later (with CombatFlite you can know exactly what they will do ;) )

To use the template you will have to Cut/paste the Base_Mission.miz file joined in this zip in the Hornet over PG campaign INIT folder (save the original Base_Mission file if you want to use it again). After that generate a new campaign using the Firstmission.bat file. Fulcrum : EWR frequencies and missions adjustments

Well the only problem I can see is if the reload takes too much time and you are not able to rejoin your package to have/be an escort to destroy the target ;) The goal of this campaign is to survive and destroy enough targets to win the war ... and to have a good way to practice a new plane in a "war like" environment (but this campaign is still work in progress :music_whistling: )
  25. It's nearly impossible to destroy a Neutrashimy with 2 planes only even with correct engaging distance. I think it will be possible with four with correct engaging distance so I changed the number of planes to be used to attack this target (waiting for Harpoon :music_whistling:) But I think we must wait a new Maverick update now...
