Yes it is :smilewink: Mbot wrote that shoppers were not yet able to be used as main air forces... He is working on it but I don't know when it will be available. I tryed to make one little test campaign in Caucasus for Gazelle but it didn't work : a problem with waypoints it seemed :huh:

Sorry shoppers campaigns are not possible yet with DCE ... I made a small tutorial but ... in french :music_whistling: I can try to translate it in english but not sure it will be really usable :huh:

I made a Korean version of the first Mbot dynamic campaign : Gardians of the Caucasus with Mig-15 instead of Mig-21 vs Sabre and P-51 a long time ago but I was a little disappointed by gun dogfights. I hope it’s better now and why not a Caucasus/Korean DCE campaign with Sabre air to ground missions one day ? It lacks AAA no ? I own Normandy ground assets but it would be a problem for most players :huh:

Ok, finally I decided to change F/A-18C to F/A-18C lot 20 and ... it works :thumbup: No more SEAD and AIM-7 versus Iranian F-14 but at least now Hornets take off from carrier ! It seems that old FA-18C can't use the helipad method ...

2 new missions with F/A-18C not taking off : One SEAD escort and a CAP mission : this last mission I took time to observe the f/A-18C from the very start of the mission : the planes appeared well positionned on the deck but when they began to move the nose wheel suddenly entered into the deck (litterally) and the two planes stopped immediatly to move. The nose wheel was nearly half into the deck :(. It's the same problem each time. I don't have this problem with an editor made mission with cold ramp start with exactly the same load and the same planes... The CVN is the Stennis

In the next mission an Intercept mission was programmed for a lone F/A-18C on the CVN Stennis. It appeared normally but never took off. I don't know if it was because there was no threat or because there was a bug. Load didn't seem to be a problem in normal missions : I tryed it with mission editor without any bugs...

Can it be a configuration problem : too heavy for carrier launch ? I will make tests again to see if AI will take off in my campaign's configurations :thumbup:

@QuiGon : I tryed to use your ATO_FlightPlan.lua file to put AI FA-18C on CVN Stennis in the PG. The planes never appear as static planes on the CVN but that's not a ploblem. My second mission was planned with 2 FA-18C in SEAD support. The 2 planes appeared on the deck and I was nearly enjoying this new possibility but Number 1 tryed to move and stopped immediatly and the 2 planes never moved again :( Don't know why ...

Attention ! With the last PG map upgrade datas were modified and 2 new airbases added : here is the new db_airbases.lua needed to make DCE campaigns : https://www.dropbox.com/s/o85mdrl2qnws7cc/db_airbases_PG2.lua?dl=0 If it can help someone :smilewink: Nota : a first PG campaign project (with M-2000C as usual) should come soon (I'm testing it :thumbup: )

It can be a solution, not the best one for me because it's smarter to destroy on map object and you can't mix static objects and on map objects in the same target i think... Why not two targets groups for one airbase : One with map objects that "accept" destruction (with coordinates) and another one for strategic static objects like Fuel tanks warehouses or other interesting static object not present near an airbases like hardened Command center or Communication center (with names) ? It can be the solution. The best would be to know what building don't accept precisely destruction to avoid to put them in the wrong target group !

For my bad english static objects could be too all the non moving, firing vehicles which are perfect to populate target area without overloading our processors :smilewink: But I know that some buidings can be bugged because we had problems with them in Caucasus campaigns : some fuel tanks and other supply building were not destroyed in the next mission :huh: The question is : are there some of this bugged buildings in PG map or is the destruction script not working for all buildings ? I suppose you found the answer but may be updates can change this :( I hope I will have buildings to destroy soon in my PG campaign to see what happens ...

It really seems to be a problem with the MissionScripting.lua modifications you have to do after each game update (or do a OvGME file to help you to do the modifications easier) look at the readme file :thumbup:

It seems to work perfectly for the Static Objects ... :thumbup: I'm waiting for an airbase attack mission to see if buidings destruction works too on PG map :music_whistling:

There are 2 different F-18 now so may be the loadout is not the good one ? I didn' look at this but may be the new F-18 (lot 20) need more fuel to be at 100% ?

It's strange because I confirm that I have to select each flying AND static plane of the mission to be able then to play normally (40-45 FPS for my low end system). I didn't give any precise parking for each aircraft : I only open the Unit List tool on the left side of the mission editor and I click once on each aircraft of the list (flying AND Static) and then saving the mission before launching the campaign ... normally :) I tryed to select only player plane then only flying planes but it didn't work (still 1 FPS) It only worked when I selected all the mission planes !

For someone who is really motivated to play those campaigns in Caucasus I found a way to do it normally or with Tomsk's "pruning" script but it's not really useful : -use the FirstMission.bat to generate a new campaign -then open the mission itself in the mission editor -using the unit list select each aircraft on the map (sometime you will have to rename the weapon load) one time -you just have to select each plane one time then select another one. -I personally selected static planes too to be sure but if you have time you can try with or without. -save the mission The mission should then work like before. Each plane will be in an individual place in airbases :thumbup: As I said it's not really useful but better than nothing :music_whistling:

An other bug (which can explain the FPS loss) : many aircraft spawn on the same place on Caucasus airbases ... it seems to be an ED issue.

Looking at planes in pause mod (great FPS ! ) show that many of them are spawning together on the same place all over the Caucasus map !
