Be careful : all Caucasus campaigns are not working anymore but a fix may be available soon ...

Well it's really strange because I always had at least 30 FPS with my poor configuration on Caucasus and with just one update it's now only 1 FPS :( My main interest with DCE was the feeling of being a small part of a big war with several flights going to the frontline and others coming back, a really impressive defense line we have to destroy missions after missions and sometimes to many enemy fighters to go trought having to wait better opportunities to reach the target.:(

I tested Cristofer campaigns on Caucasus and it's the same problem ! So it seems to come from the map itself ...

It seems that every DCE campaign made on Caucasus map doesn't work anymore (since last update ?) : the mission start normally but when you are in the cockpit the game stay with 1-2 FPS even after many minutes waiting :( I tryed Cristofer's campaigns and it bugs too... All campaigns made on Nevada map seem to work... Any idea ?

I can't test it now because i'm still loading the last update. :( Why does it concern only Caucasus campaigns ? Did someone tryed Cristofer's Caucasus Campaigns ? Too many SAMs and planes I suppose ...

It's a smart solution :thumbup: I created a small OvGME file to allow F-14 and F-4 on Iranian side but I'm not sure players will be ready to use this kind of program even if you can put other files like the modified missionscripting.lua or skins for aircrafts :huh:

I suppose I need to use my Base_mission template to find the helipadId because it depends on how many units I placed before my CVN ?

Did you do that ? : "Open the file "DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\MissionScripting.lua". Add two minus signs in front of line 16 "sanitizeModule('os')" and line 17 "sanitizeModule('io')". The code block from line 16 to line 20 should then look like this: --sanitizeModule('os') --sanitizeModule('io') sanitizeModule('lfs') require = nil loadlib = nil This modification has to be repeated after each update of DCS World, as each update reverts the file back to its original state." -
Nice job ! It works both for AI and human I suppose ? How many planes can a carrier manage ? One completly different question : did you find iranian skins for F-14 and F-4 ? I found a skin for F-14 in VSN mod but I was not able to make it work :(

I really would like to make a Persian Gulf campaign but options seems to be too limited : - only one usable airbase in Iran (with taxiways) - no F-14 nor F-4 on Iran side - no Oman or UAE dedicated planes Maybe a limited war could be possible ...

Absolutly no problems with that :thumbup: You can make it with all my other campaigns because I didn't buy F/A-18 module yet :(

Some airbases are not really usable for DCE because they lack taxiways and planes need to use the runway to taxi for taking off : It takes really a lot of time so missions timing might be corrupted :( I have a method to assign Tomcat and F-4 to iranian side but I think it's best to wait until ED make an official patch for it no ?

I made a mission with one kind of aircraft for each airbase then I opened the mission file and I found the altitude, the coordinates and Id of each airbases :)

Well I will try to make a Strait of Hormuz campaign as soon as possible if it works (I was able to do it on Caucasus but never on Normandie :( ) but I didn't buy F18 module yet ...
