  1. I wanted to make a limited Gazelle war over Inguri River with DCE but it seems that it's not yet possible :( What's the problem ? Speed ? Waypoints with hover possibilities ? Weapon's use ? DCE is not really done for CAS but it's a good way to practice in an interesting way :) I wanted only tanks and BMP's Cie on the north side of Inguri river with rear artillery and maybe HQ targets. Mainly shoppers near the front with strike and escort missions and only sometimes one CAP or strike plane mission ... DCE was not able to generate a mission ("Player aircraft type cannot operate at this time of day") : loadouts were day, night and adverse weather capable :huh: A problem with Time on Target ?

  5. This kind of campaign is very difficult for the Warthog because at the beginning air superiority is not blue at all. Flying low could be safer against fighters but Air Defenses are strong at low altitude :( Don't fly mission without strong escort when EWR are not destroyed (use ongoingmission.bat to ask for a new mission) This campaign is better for multirole fighters ...
  6. Too many ground/air units maybe ? The solution could be to reduce the aircraft ready numbers to avoid too many static aircrafts (all usable aircrafts are really present on the bases) BUT this will cause less possible missions ... I will take a look at that ...

  14. You will have to modify the warehouses file which is in the Base_mission.miz in the Init folder. To avoid this, load my Desert Mirage 86 campaign an use its warehouse file : it should work fine ;)

Well both versions are Mbot's work :thumbup: Mbot will be the best to tell the differences but the main difference seems to be the Targets destruction system : in the first DCE version the destroyed targets were destroyed "manually" at the beginning of the mission so the player's planes (and all other planes) were appearing after that to avoid damages. In the last version (after december) this can be done without any explosion : the objects appear destroyed directly so the player's plane appears quickly. This was not working in 1.5.8 on Caucasus but only in 2.2. Now it works in 2.5 on Caucasus too :thumbup: Second difference : You can now choose when will the player's plane be active before the taking off time. Mirage 2000c driver can now have enough time to start his plane and decide (or not) to take off sooner to refuel before crossing the frontline :smilewink: It's so now possible to use another plane to lase target for Mirage 2000C for example. And many other bugs had been fixed by Mbot :) I'm not the only one to adapt the Mbot's DCE : yoiu can try the excellent Cristofer's campaigns :thumbup: Look here : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=191858 (I think this post could be usefully sticked to help players to find all DCE campaigns :music_whistling:)

  18. Well, my Mirage over Caucasus own version seems to work but to be really sure of targets coordinates I searched for them again ... I will release a new version soon I hope ;)

  20. Well I understand the way it should be used but I can say that it works very well with AI airplanes making several bombing runs against multiple targets ;) Yes I did :)
  21. One (more :music_whistling: ) question to Mbot about laser illumination. Looking for all the possible missions for aircrafts I saw this one as a support task like SEAD missions. I thought it could be really interesting for Mirage 2000C air to ground missions. I created F-16 loadout with Laser Pod and Mirage 2000C with GBU-12 loadout and laser illumination support. It worked really well for AI, they used their GBU-12 to destroy all the targets. Not really sure that the F-16 illumination position is realistic but at least Mirage 2000C can use the GBU :thumbup: My question is about human pilot : how can I interact with F-16 illuminator ? I was part of a flight attacking an airbase with 10 targets but it was impossible for me to know which one was illuminated . I tryed to launch my GBU on possible targets but my bombs never get the laser beam. AI Mirage had no problems with that. Isn't it possible to have an airborn JTAC routine like in some existing scripts ?
  22. I'm doing it often to test my DCE campaigns modifications. If the human mission is strike, you must be sure to have at least 2 strikers flights for the target so you stay on the ground and watch AI making the job...To be sure to have enough flights you must change power needed to attack targets in target list.lua (firepower) Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk

    KC-130 Size

    I don't really know if it's a known bug and if not where to post it, but using Mbot DCE the planes are dispatched randomly on airbases. Big planes are put only on adapted places but not the KC-130 so it collides often with other planes or objets. It seems that DCS doesn't know that KC-130 is a big plane ?
