I don't buy it. I mean there are two crew members. One of them ejected first to reduce weight, furthering damaging the plane and shifting center of weight while the other one had big ego and decided to crash land (save? lol) the plane in rough terrain, skid around only to ejected at 0-0 and then was running around with gun? Only in Hollywood they do this...:smilewink: If the plane was controllable enough to allow crash landing why wouldn't they continue flying over the sea and eject then or even try to land in Malta? Since pilots got separated by large distance they had to eject at significant altitude.

Wikipedia reports Sukhoi Su-30MKV Flanker-G - 24 total in service - all delivered. I think you are confusing Venezuela with Vietnam that operated total of four aircrafts of this type in Jan 2010.

Okey, question though. How come plane end up this way if they both ejected looking pretty much "in shape" instead of being ripped into pieces and engines lying around. It reminds me of flat crashed Serbian Fulcrum after it was shot down - strange too.

These are Venezuelans. They have purchased 24 new planes and have total 24 Su-30MK2 in service since 2009. It looks like they are very happy to fly them ^^

Well... ;) Let me put some pic of exported Su-30s at least :) I find these camouflage colors blending well with region's colors. Someone has done fine job and Venezuela's Flankers look really sexy ^^

Asse does not compare. It does not fall into its category of true and safe final storage facility for nuclear waste. German nation took a short-cut by using a shallow salt mine for waste storage. This is why only low-level short-lived waste can be disposed there in such shallow repository. Even though the way it has been stored is outrageous. Germans failed miserably. Nuclear waste is a global problem and such depositories as the one under construction in Finland must be a global effort to construct otherwise we are all in trouble because of smelly poo in our neighbors' backyard.

Here's something extra to watch about how nuclear waste should be stored compared to what has been done with used rods in Fukushima.

Wow, Crunch. This is exactly the same reason why I have found BF 2142 the best of all BF games! I haven't found BF2 interesting to me at all. However I had quite a lot of fun with BFBC2. Now I am getting CRYSIS2 instead of another "modern military shooter", because I am sick of theme. I will take a look at BF3 once it is beta or demo around end of 2011. If BF 2143 was made on such engine... oh man ^^

At first glance it may seem intimidating and difficult. However if you do your own PPL(A) license you will notice that in RL it is not as scary as it seems, and once you have done that, VATSIM is pretty much nothing else then representation of comms and procedures that you have already experienced during your flight training. So the other way around - if you have have been flying on VATSIM you quickly pick up comms and procedures during your flight training. However there are diffrences between RL and VATSIM and one must never use VATSIM as a training tool, because it may lead to wrong habits. I know few colleagues at work and one from flight training that fly VATSIM a lot. I have tried it honestly not extensively only few times and short. This is because I am bored of flying at home simulator in real-time straight lines - and that's what it is about really. If you are just looking for ATCs, comms and all that, I invite you to join with your LOFC2/DCS our GCI EVENTS on 51st server ^^

Chill. Matt Wagner just recently said (VE3D interview) they will be working on compatibility patch, and all DCS releases will be compatible with each other and even FC2 owners may expect DCS compatibility patch. Riboyster stop spreading BS.

Yeah, that's so 90-ties. I find its 3D pit way less functional then Flanker 1.0 and Hornet 3.0 and Korea sims.
