Technically wise (specs) - to have best DCS experience ever. Should I go RAID, then what setting and what drivers with what technical specs? What values (specs) to look for in SSD that I consider as option next to new HDD or two HDDs.

There's one thing I hate about touch screens, I don't feel the texture and shape of controls under my fingers. And the whole point of working with your fingers is to use their most complex nerve endings. This is something I find more and more shitty about a/c touch-glass cockpits. Because you can't blindly look for the controls, you must read the screen first and put finger in the right place. In old cockpits you can work blindfolded, more efficient, more reliable, safer.

Think this way. Most important benefit of staying UP-TO-DATE with software versions is both official customer support and community support.

I am not flying with my HOTAS Cougar neither. It is waiting now to be replaced by HOTAS Warthog. Cougar time is over and will be processed into box and hidden from daylight until it is either upgraded to FSSB or sold.
