ED please finally unify the way WIND directions are given in this game. In every aspect of the sim, whether it is mission editor, briefing screen, ATC speaking to you etc... please use only heading the wind is blowing from!

To support ED, yes. To fly it, well...what could I do, the only Su in DCS... but I want my beloved Flanker:cry: I have been Flanker armchair pilot since '96:pilotfly: And just recently we had full 15-Year Anniversary!

I forgot to mention that when I was even younger I played SOLO FLIGHT on my cousins ATARI :> I also before had experience with semi-flight-shooting-games on ZX SPECTRUM clone - TIMEX computer, I remember LYNX and HARRIER ATTACK :P

FS 4.0 was as bad, stall sounds were total killer.

My very own first PC was AT with 12MHz, and very first two games that came with it were flight simulators - Fighter Bomber and MS Flight Simulator 4.0. I have done my first mid-air refuel when I was 8 years old :P

From flight sims under development I would say that Space Shuttle Mission Simulator 2 (SSMS2) is my most desirable. I am very pleased with what I have currently (DCS A-10C, DCS Ka-50, LOFC2, VRS F/A-18E).

Not this way, I thought about giving it initial speed with rail gun, and then satellite would use its own engine. However the initial work to get it off the ground could be use by system of electromagnetic rails. Actually I have been thinking that if international treaty actually allows weaponization of space then we can expect colonies on Moon, then on Mars much sooner then after. I would actually do it the other way around then it is now. Allow military interventions in space, but not on Earth :P

Here's one! Launching sabot at Mach 5-6 with 0 gun elevation, that punches through 1/8-inch steel plate at 100 yards and keeps flying straight for 7 km. I would love to see satellites launched from equator with long magnetic track, but I guess weapons will be first to be put into operation... what a crazy world, oh well. Here's the video! Is there any checklist available other then one in the manual? I have great checklist for Black Shark that includes even keyboard shortcuts, but I do not remember who made it though :<

Note that Eagle Dynamics made you a favor and put GAME MODE just for you and alikes (COD4 crowd?). That is if you obviously belong to a group that do not understand the concept of STUDY FLIGHT SIMULATOR. I am a pilot in real life, and I paid ED to make this application to simulate real cockpit and its operations as realistically as possible. Why? Because it gives my brain a lot of exercise even when I am studying a/c that I won't fly in real life. I do understand why the have implemented GAME MODE for people like you - use it - do not rant about our needs. STUDY SIMULATOR is our part of this application, obviously what DCS was built for in the first place.

I got my Cessna 172 type rating in Fresno. RIP two aviators and the machine spirit.
