I must give you REP for this! I am working in aircraft maintenance and I am procuring parts for the airlines sometimes client like military! This is so true!

Do you have ready VAC profile for DCS:WH?
-
What kind of weapons do you think B-2s are deploying and what kind of targets are they used against? Do you think they use stand-off missiles exclusively? So we have big AGM-158 and smaller AGM-154 to bet on.

Asse does not compare. It does not fall into its category of true and safe final storage facility for nuclear waste. German nation took a short-cut by using a shallow salt mine for waste storage. This is why only low-level short-lived waste can be disposed there in such shallow repository. Even though the way it has been stored is outrageous. Germans failed miserably. Nuclear waste is a global problem and such depositories as the one under construction in Finland must be a global effort to construct otherwise we are all in trouble because of smelly poo in our neighbors' backyard.
-
Here's something extra to watch about how nuclear waste should be stored compared to what has been done with used rods in Fukushima.

Can he apply intimidate fixes to avionics compartment like R2D2? ;)

There's been a lot on http://www.infowars.com covered regarding the construction of the plant and how for 40 years used rods were stored above the reactors instead of being disposed somewhere deep inside Earth. When the first explosion occurred most of these rods were blown up. http://www.infowars.com/alert-fukushima-coverup-40-years-of-spent-nuclear-rods-blown-sky-high/ What's interesting that 35 years ago GE engineers quit their jobs protesting its design. http://www.infowars.com/fukushima-mark-1-nuclear-reactor-design-caused-ge-scientist-to-quit-in-protest/ Archived articles here covering this event: http://www.infowars.com/category/featured-stories/

Wow, Crunch. This is exactly the same reason why I have found BF 2142 the best of all BF games! I haven't found BF2 interesting to me at all. However I had quite a lot of fun with BFBC2. Now I am getting CRYSIS2 instead of another "modern military shooter", because I am sick of theme. I will take a look at BF3 once it is beta or demo around end of 2011. If BF 2143 was made on such engine... oh man ^^

WOW! IS THIS FOR REAL!? I mean do we really get true dedicated solution to fly on?

Making the game more appealing when not in cockpit
Shaman replied to rainyday's topic in DCS Wishlist
I guess this could be achieved with GUI mod. I really like how debriefs were done in Dawn of War 2 after each mission, showing off what you have achieved during the mission. You mean something like that? -
Yes it was an AI, now it is gone. Could be nice to have it back as AI again.

At first glance it may seem intimidating and difficult. However if you do your own PPL(A) license you will notice that in RL it is not as scary as it seems, and once you have done that, VATSIM is pretty much nothing else then representation of comms and procedures that you have already experienced during your flight training. So the other way around - if you have have been flying on VATSIM you quickly pick up comms and procedures during your flight training. However there are diffrences between RL and VATSIM and one must never use VATSIM as a training tool, because it may lead to wrong habits. I know few colleagues at work and one from flight training that fly VATSIM a lot. I have tried it honestly not extensively only few times and short. This is because I am bored of flying at home simulator in real-time straight lines - and that's what it is about really. If you are just looking for ATCs, comms and all that, I invite you to join with your LOFC2/DCS our GCI EVENTS on 51st server ^^

Definitely so, however I like the soundtrack behind original trailer (non-director's cut), it gives me goose bumps each time I watch/hear it.

Game is made in Poland, glad to see more and more often my local gaming industry reached AAA market... Bulletstorm, Witcher 2...

Chill. Matt Wagner just recently said (VE3D interview) they will be working on compatibility patch, and all DCS releases will be compatible with each other and even FC2 owners may expect DCS compatibility patch. Riboyster stop spreading BS.

Yeah, that's so 90-ties. I find its 3D pit way less functional then Flanker 1.0 and Hornet 3.0 and Korea sims.

How about submitting model to ED in its raw 3d studio format, so it can be compiled by ED and become an AI part of next patch or DCS release :P ? Looks great, TOMCATZ.

HOTAS Warthog updated drivers 2011-02-22
Shaman replied to ACUTech's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Since they made Slider0 work jerky now, I do not recommend this update. Can someone tell me what is this: "guillemot webupdater" and can it be removed? Its functionality is unknown to me, and it connects to server when run, but then times out trying to check up on smth. -
Want native voice acting
Shaman replied to VictorSierraGolf's topic in Lock On v.1.0x and Flaming Cliffs v.1.1x
http://www.lockonfiles.com :) I recommend upgrading Lock On 1.0 (1.02) to Flaming Cliffs 2. No one here supports ancient Lock On version. -
These tips are no longer valid in final release manual. Correct pages are now 591 - 621 that include checklists.

Any quick survival guide for NVIDIA users? So far I had to use hardware Anti-Aliasing (x16) and Anisostropic Filtering (x16) and I controlled it with NVIDIA driver. Should I use now software Anti-Aliasing and default texture filtering instead (don't know what ED uses there) what comes with newer DCS engine? What's kinda annoying is that both BS and WH share same executable names, and NVIDIA driver detects DCS:WH as DCS:BS.

Just so you know. We have a very smart code that pick ups any illegal activity or suspicious out-of-the-blue behavior that totally stands out of the crowd. There were cheaters who tried to conceal they were cheating, but it still picked them out. We monitor very closely such pilots with additional tools. It usually ends with hard ban. There is absolutely no tolerance policy for offenders or cheaters on 51st server. There is no way to get a second chance. Ban information about such players is being passed (ALWAYS) to other server admins. A friendly warning for all who even attempt to try any illegal activity on our server... plus a friendly invitation to join <51> flight server for all legit pilots :) ...from your most friendliest 51PVO POLITICAL OFFICER ^^
