If I don't hit Rctr + Enter to see where my rudder is actually at. Hovering can become a real pain real fast. Especially if you happen to have your rudder trimmed over and then cancel it. Now you'll start spinning all over the place. And if you didn't know you were trimmed over it gets really confusing. I really wish they would give us the option of disconnecting the rudder from the trimmer.

I know there's a way to spawn units. The escort quest in the deployment campaign does it. The enemey ground units don't spawn untill the convoy reaches a certain spot. I'm not familiar with the Editor at all myself. But, maybe you could just spawn new units when the player leaves the trigger zone?

Bothe are 9 inches x 7 5/8 inches. Add and inch to the length of the joystick base if you will need to account for the wires connections.

Everyone is talking about realism with russian language. But, pause is ok? lol

1. Trimmer works exactly like you think it does. 2. Rudders are not removed. You have to return them to the middle. 3. The detents in the throttle aren't really detents. More like just little bumps. I don't even notice them while flying. I love the G940. I bought it specifically for Black Shark. Worth every penny to me. I am finding out that it doesn't handle complicated programming. Well either it doesn't or I just can't figur out how to do it.

Who has time to read subtitles in the middle of battle?

High = dead for me. So I try to stay low. Sounds like you tactic is working. I use wingman to scout and take out bandits. :)

Joystick Sensitivity in general - compared to ka-50 "Realism"
Shez replied to RealDCSpilot's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Let me see if I can explain. A 1:1 ratio of input to stick movement would be a straight line as it is as default Take a curve that starts out gradual and gets steeper as it goes left or right. This curve would give reduced input per stick movement near the center of stick movement and become closer to a 1:1 ratio near the corners. I believe this would be a negative curve. This is where the terminology becomes fuzzy to me. But, if this is a negative curve then a positive curve would give more input that stick movement and make it more sensitive. Hope that helps. -

Oh nice! I've been wondering how to actually program special keypresses. That just may be the ticket. -
How did you setup your G940 stick in FFB properties? :)

I stumbled across these settings the other day and haven't had a chance to play with them yet. Hopefully this weekend. -

I have covered the sensor as well. But, I still dont' want the stick to center or move at all when i take my hand off. -
What is that on the abbris? Some kind of Abbriss tetris game? :D j/k

It's in there. Can't remember how to get to it atm. I'll report back when i get home tonight. -
Try McMaster-Car. They might have something you could use. http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/115/2051/=3wbc4i

I found that if I turn on spring centering the stick centers when you let go of it. Not what you want in DCS. Here are my settings. General effect: 20% Spring effect: 100% damping effect: 20% Activate springcentering in force feedback games (NO) centerspring effect: I believe this is at zero -
Hmm i'm at work atm. So this will be from memory and might have some errors. If you open the calibration options in windows and go to the advanced options you should see 3 sliders for the FFB settings. General, Spring, and Damping. I noticed if I turned General and Dampening to 0. the stick would stay exactly where I trimmed it. But, there was zero resistance in the sticks movements. And since there is no actuall Force Feedback in the game I found this acceptable. If you would like more resistance you could probable increase those two settings untill you found a setting you liked and still got sollid trim positioning. I leave the in game settings as default. No curves or saturation. I hope that makes since. I'll update this post when I get home with more details.

I had to play with the FFB levels in the joystick program to get the G940 to act like I feel it should. Mine is set where there is hardly any resistance in the joystick but it will stay exactly where I leave it. There's no FFB coming from the game anyway. The FFB is used to keep the joystick where it is when you trim. Unlike the standard joystick where you have to trim then return the joystick to center real quick. Also make sure you put a piece of tape over the sensor on the right side of the stick. That will keep the stick from moving around if you take your hand off.

Have you tried to turn down the g940's sensitivity in the logitech software? -
lol Global Warming. Please post some proof.
