  2. Alright. For Mustangs noise texture one has to set noise2persquare to 75. But you also changed noise1top and noise1bottom values. Do you recommend those settings for Mustangs texture, also or are these settings only for the default one ? greetz, Migo

  4. As far as I know most VGA inputs don't allow you to use 1080p. My tv got one additionally , too, but it only supports 720p.
  5. This is DCS A10c, of course everything scales properly. When DCS: Black Shark was released I started playing it at an 37" 1080p LCD without problems. Right now playing on a 42" plasma without any problems. It's just really nice and everything works as expected :)
  6. Hey Kuky I had a look on your very_high.lua . Why did you lower some distances like townLightNearDistance, noisemax, noise1bottom, farFullRenderDistance and so on. Did you do that to gain some fps or lower value = better quality ? Could you explain that please ? Want to thank you for the tweaks though.

  13. Thanks for reply. Yea I found it strange, too, that it got the same frequency as Batumi. No I didn't try the other frequency. Is it a bug that the CDU divert page displays 110.30 for tbilsi ?
  14. As far as I know China Hat Aft slews to steerpoint and thereby resets the current SPI. I don't know if it should reset it but that's how it works on my side.
  15. I'm very proud that I made a perfect landing at Batumi 10 minutes ago by using my keyboard. I had a tm warthog some months ago and couldn't land as smooth as I did now. But I also got a problem. I flew the instant action mission "Georgia Spring Easy". I finished it and then wanted to land at Tbilsi Loch airfield. I look on the divert page and it gives me ILS freq: 110.30. I turn the ILS to that frequency but I just can't get a signal at all. It's turned on and the volume is at maximum. Is this a known bug ? I tried two times, from both sides and was very close to the airport but got no signal. Tacan is working as it should. greetings, Migo

  17. Press LALT-C to view with the mouse. It takes some time to get used to always press that combination but it works quite well.

  21. Thanks very much, will take a look at that. The real A10 manual says to test it first before taxiing and to finally switch it on before takeoff. The tutorial instructor claims that pitot heat should not be activated too long when on the ground because there is a possibility of overheating. greetz, Migo
  22. Can somebody post the real startup procedure for the a10c ? Like a real pilot would do it ? Because the tutorial mission misses a lot of things and is not up to date as far as I know it. I moved from the tutorial mission to the procedure in the manual but even there are things missing and different. It doesn't tell me when to arm EAC or the ejection seat. I know that I'm able to arm EAC after INS alignment and after choosing EGI but I want the real procedure. In the tutorial mission you activate oxygen at the start after testing it, in the manual you activate it before taxiing. Tutorial mission says flaps 20° and manual says flaps 7° for takeoff. Also there is a startup-checklist at the end of the manual and even the procedure there differs from the one starting at p.427. Checklist says to enable TGP before CICU and IFCC, startup from p.427 says to enable it after CICU and IFCC, for example. Would be cool to hear something from a real A10c pilot. Because I don't think the army is telling their pilots "Hit the switches in any order you want, as long as it all works". Another question: I know that one should test the pitot heat, but how to tell if it is operating correctly ? How long should it be enabled before turning it off again ? greetz

  24. I don't got the game installed right now and last played it some time ago. How long do you wait after pressing the autostart-key ? Because it really takes some time to get that baby flying. Aligning the INS takes some minutes. I could imagine that this looks to you like nothing happens in this time.
  25. I don't think a JTAC has time to measure the wind during combat.
