I had the Piper Cub with Accusim and it was pretty nice, the whole way to start the propeller and stuff. But I got bored so fast. Only fun things were starting, windmill start and landing. It was also annoying that my head was able to leave the cockpit with TrackIR :( What do you guys do with such planes ingame ? Just doing moves or what ?

I wonder when someone should do an overhead pattern. Does the ATC tell you that ?

I wonder how one is able to get the wind data from the different layers... Take the one from the ground, fly level at 2000/8000 and note the data from the cdu ? Can someone tell where I can find wind data in the cdu ? I know that there is wind data displayed under "Waypoint" but this does not seem to be the actual wind data the pitot takes, right ?

Ah yea, 330 x/ 1kn= 0.51444m/s Why only 8*3.6 ? I thought 3600 to get from seconds to hours ?

How should one put it in now ? Lets take 150 at 8 meters per secound for example. 150+180=330 Heading. What would be the 8m/s in kn/h ? 8*0.51*3600=14,688kn/h ? Would that be correct ?

Look at me guys, I owned a Hotas Warthog and TIR 5 but I'm flying with keyboard and mouse right now and having a lot of fun. I can do everything, just not as smooth as with a hotas, but I can still complete and survive my missions and land as soft as one can do it :)

Sometimes I alt-tab out of the game to look up some information in a pdf file. When I alt-tab back in the HDR has changed. I play with the "Normal" preset. When I change back it changed to the "cold" preset.

Just a quick reply: China hat forward long slews all sensors to SPI, nothing to do with a mark point. You can only slew to current Waypoint by pressing china hat aft long.

During shutdown I used the speedbrakes to bleed off the pressure from the right hydraulic system. After that I used the speedbrake emergency retract switch to close the SBs without pressure. I can't do that anymore. I wondered how the SBs were closed without pressure, seems that it was a bug and has been fixed now.

It's just saying that it loads up the target coordinates.

That's correct and seems to be a bug, right ?

Labeled HM, the Hot Mic button allows you to communicate with the ground crew and tanker. However, for this function to work the Rotary Selection dial must first be set to INT (intercom) and the INT button must be selected. From the manual.

For me it is like that yes. It's hard to explain, almost a feeling. But the view is smoother, less cut up. When the fps change from 60 to 40 it's more "cut up", less smooth yes. Also my controls aren't that responsive anymore. It's not like stuttering but it feels like missing pictures, hard to explain. It's just the same effect you get when your fps change from 40 to 20 but not as harsh. Maybe some of ya older folks don't recognize it anyway :D
