I professionally calibrated my Panasonic plasma to THX standard I don't think that's the problem. I am always very into calibrating everything to perfection and maybe that's why I got a problem with this new colour in DCS. Yes the new blue is deeper but it turns to a pink tone. Not pink fading to grey but blue-gray fading to some white-red tone. I will do some more tests and maybe I'll find something out . Thanks for the replys so far :) greetings, Migo

It's the terrain lighting which changed the colour ? Oh boy I hope I'll see the old one again. This sim is amazing and I love everything about it but this new colour is really annoying. It's like eating green ketchup, you know what I mean ? It may also depend on the monitor and how it's calibrated but for me the light-blue sky looks more realistic than the pink one. I mean first it was light-blue turning to white and now it's grey-blue turning to pink. greetings, Migo

I often feel uncomfortable in the A10 since it seems that I f'cked up my colour settings with DCS somehow. Maybe this was done by a patch. Here is a comparison between the colour which DCS had some time ago and the colour it has now: The colours are a little bit messed up because I converted these screens to an animated gif. But I think one can tell the difference. Some time ago DCS had that natural harmonic blue and green colour and now it just looks so unnatural to me and hurts my eyes. I know this is just a small detail but it really wants to make me vomit. This new colour-mix must affect my brain somehow @.@ Someone noticed a difference in colur, too ? :) greetings, Migo

To make something SPI with TGP you need to press TMS Up Long. I don't think you did that because it still returns you to the waypoint and you say that TMS Up doesn't work for you. TMS Up is Lctrl+Up (Ingame it looks like the TMS moves to the right but I think that's just a bug). Edit: Ok seems you got that solved already ;-)

Usually it's lctrl + up (maybe both works)

One can increase friction ? I'll have to take a look at that. Haha oh my.... And I always wondered what the use of this rotary is. Damn I should have read the manual earlier :D Increased the friction from 1 to 4 and it works perfect. Now I have to find a way to reduce the side-movement of the left throttle.

I only got a problem when the throttles are split up. No problem when they are connected but otherwise they have movement to the side and not enough resistence. If I want to push the autopilot button on the left throttle when they are split up I always have to be extremely careful not to mess up the engine power because it's wobbling around. The resistence the button needs is much greater than the resistence the throttle needs to move backwards and it moves to the side additionally. It's like they are perfect and strong when connected, once they get split they become weak and fragile, especially the left one. Someone else with that problem ? greetings, Migo

I tested the BFT1 one today and using the real world startup checklist I was slightly disappointed that it's based on the startup tutorial. I understand this though because Paulrkiii's documents were not available at the time you created those missions ;-)

It only changes the grass in spring, right ?

First you update the games list in Track IR 5. Then you choose DCS A10 from the games and assign the TIR profile you want it to use.

That 25 meter mesh looks better then most of the mountains seen in the black sea map.

That's the point. CHF gives you MAV page and SOI. With the coolie hat you have to cycle the pages first and then again press it long to get the same result. This is how the real thing works. They didn't disable it. They built in the "Select MAV Page + SOI" shortcut. They didn't built in a "MAV SOI" shortcut because you can use the Coolie Hat for that.

Because if you already got the MAV page selected it makes no sence, you could use Coolie Hat long instead of CHF...

This is how it works in real life ;-)

This is how I do it. Press Master Mode Button to CCIP choose MAV with DMS and press CHF. Right MFCD switches to Mav Page and is SOI. It only works when the MAV page is not selected ! greetz, Migo

It's because of the smoothing and the filters, you won't get rid of it. You can turn of the filtering but it will go all over the place then.

I use "normal". Cold is too blurry and warm is too saturated.
