Sorry, but you can connect to the game as whoever you want. This has nothing to do with HL at all. If you connect to a Lomac game by IP (a second connect, for example), you don't even have to go via HL.

Well, i've connected to the game under different name first, but i saw some pilots from his squad therein and reconnected. If you see the coalition screen, just enter a different name while you are listed under 'Spectators'. No problem ;-) Hwg, now after a new connect, i've joined as 123rd_FunnyBunny - didn't have to change my callsign.

Pretty hilarious this is ... i just joined a game on HL as 123rd_FunnyBunny - you can take any name you want and if you join by IP there shouldn't be a trace to follow back (unless you have a static IP). So, think twice before you blame a callsign to be a cheater.

Sure i do ... the cheaters were exposed as cheaters and moved on - and reappeared with the next new sim. Do you remember the 'cheating posts' on ubi.com?

So what? I remember the cheating back in the F/A-18 days when one could fire bullets with the damage/impact of missiles and i can remember the early days of Lomac when pilots loaded Aim-54's or joined a server on a second connection to spoil the game to their advantage. Maybe ED can start to fix the warping I'll see when i fire a missile at a bandit ...

i made a stupid mistake and forgot to set connection speed to 128/128. the patch reset it to 33k and saw some bad lag, ouch!

So, if you're willing to pay the price of this fabulous program - go and get it! It's always Quality - Cheap - Time and you can choose only 2 of 3 ;-)

I'd recommend to download the HyperLobby client and meet other pilots (and squads) online: http://hyperfighter.sk/ Teamspeak and Ventrilo are used for comms.

The 'procaff' addition must be in the "target" line, not the "start in " line, which actually requires a valid, existing folder(name).

The S77th say there was no ccop with Ai running ... now i'm confused, nothing new btw :smile: But i have a simple explanation for all this: the AI are 'sleeping' in the background of each server until only one player is online and ... THEN THEY STRIKE BACK - all your bases belong to us! Ho ho the AI is way more tricky than i've ever thought!

Hah! Now we see how 'lousy' the AI is - they can't even kill friendlies :smile: Our squad is flying on the big servers for ages and we had NEVER anything to complain about. So until you come up with some screenshots or better proof i'll suggest we forget about it. Not to brush it under the carpet but to inhibit this to derail.

Yes, i've used it. But you didn't answered my question. I'm not "criticizing" and asking me to create a DC is a cheap sleight of hand. I do play sims for what they have to offer and I definitely do not want to spend my free time building missions. I wanna play/fly! A solution depends on one's preferences. If you can't live w/o DC then play F4 or IL-2, if you need the triggers in the editor play F/A-18 and for all other bright features play Lomac. But who am i to tell others what to do with their free time?

How do you know what makes the majority of Lomac players - most of them flying offline if you believe Stormin - happy? Click a few buttons, let the computer generate a campaign and start flying, that would be great. Not everybody loves to spend hours in mission building.
