  1. That stick is disgusting and I love it.
  2. Nevermind being sent home from the fleet for a few cut passes. I’ve vaporised a few Hornets into the ramp a few times. I’m pretty sure this sort of thing is frowned upon in the real world?
  3. Embrace the truth.
  4. Just don't shoot anyone.
  5. It was fielded sufficiently and economically.
  6. If you ain’t got the A-10C get that. It’s superb. You need that in your life.
  7. Ah, that’s better cheers!
  8. This video is unavailable
  9. Do you have any settings within the software that came with your pedals? If so your looking for an option to combine axis?

    F-18 or F-14

I've got the Hornet and pre-ordered the Tomcat. The Hornet is a thing of outstanding beauty to fly and in VR it's ridiculously good. It is of course getting better and better as more systems come online. I'm glad I got the Hornet in EA because it's a great way to learn as things steadily come online. The Tomcat is going to be more complete of course.
  11. I use my really old momo wheel pedals. There is an option in the settings to have them as combined pedals. DCS just sees it as another device. I set it in the axis for rudder and tick the reverse box. These work in all the flight sims I use without any issues at all.
  12. Ah, I thought you meant using the gloves to interact with the controllers in the VR pit. My mistake.
  13. Are you pressing FCS reset or T.O trim?
  14. Fantastic. That looks like a great way to implement such a feature.
  15. Yep, people don't even read. They look at the pictures and make things up.
  16. I like the idea of an avatar to change switches etc but to have my hand not actually touching a controller such as the HOTAS would take me out of the virtual realty . That physical touch and the weight of the stick is important. It would also get tiring after a short period of time. That's why most controllers have those rest surfaces. The ergonomic shape and the feel really helps with fine controlling. Imagine trying to do AAR without the feel of those micro movements you need to master that sort of thing?
  17. It already has that option. You can backup your settings via the in game UI or do as the previous post says back it up via C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input I don't understand what you mean?

    LANTIRN!

    Yep 2 weeks.
  19. I agree. They've done a great job to this aircraft. I would love to see this done as a full DCS level module.
  20. I have had my rift for just over 2 years now so the warranty is out. The sound started to go in the left ear and now the right has stopped. I looked online for solutions but I'm not going to start taking it apart because I am useless when it comes to that sort of thing. Anyway, I got myself some wireless headphones and took the Rift headphones off (easy job) This solution to the problem is much better sound quality and more comfortable. So at the end of the day, not a big deal. I was wondering if anyone else has had any issues with there headset sound?
