  1. Hey mate not boasting, I am just brilliant. It's probably down to my incredible good looks or something?

    Britsh Planes

    Yep, I agree. Well said.

    When ?

    the 34th of January.
  4. Good to hear. I am getting a new rig later in the year. Cheers!
  5. +1 Every session I do a refuel and case1 recovery practice. Keeps me on my toes and that frustration stays away.
  6. I pre-purchased the Tomcat this morning. We are a bit skint after Christmas but it's inevitable that I was going to get it anyway. Based on what Heatblur have done and continue to do with the Viggen I am sure this is going to be a game changer. Can't wait! PS: Please do the Tornado.
  7. That aint ugly. That's smart cooling.
  8. Let us know how you find your first flight etc.
  9. When I fly I hardly ever put myself outside the cockpit. I'm also mostly concentrating on the job at hand. I never understand why such detail is so important? My helmet could look like a massive onion for all I care. I've got other stuff going on. Low priority way down the list stuff.
  10. Fascinating!
  11. Yep, I am in exactly the same situation.
  12. I used TrackIR for many years and I loved it. I remember it being a massive game changer for me. I have been using VR for about a year and a half and my TrackIR is gathering dust in a cupboard somewhere. I got TrackIR out once, in the summer to see what it would be like to go back and it lasted a few minutes and went straight back to its dormant state. VR is the future in flight simming. How long that takes for it to be the dominant interface I don't know. I know I am glad to be alive after 20 years of simulation to be able to witness it like it is. Even if we are essentially the first generation to do so. It's simply brilliant.
  13. The pilot was dead as fried chicken. When you're in that state you can't pull the ejection handle, I believe.
  14. Agree.
  15. I pretty much agree with the original poster and have a lot of empathy with the point about not wanting it to feel like a 2nd job, which it can. I used to fly BMS and drop back into it for the odd flight but soon give up because VR has really been a big game changer for me. I have flown very rarely online with a few really nice people and these were great experiences but the sessions are just far too long for me to commit to because of family, jobs and all the other life stuff. It still remains a big hole that I can't seem to fill with something I really love doing and have been doing for over 20 years. I agree with the other point that the answer is a dynamic campaign both for single player and multiplayer respectively.
  16. Tedious virtue signaling.
  17. Become a content provider yourself and see how much work is involved in doing that.
  18. Do you ever just fly and have hours of fun or are you so imbued with it all that you think of it as work all the time? I hope that makes sense?
  19. Brilliant pit. I wish I could to do just half of this sort of thing. What great skill. Nice one.

    F15E When?

Just let the baby spit his/her dummy out and ignore it.
  21. Yep, I agree. I also don't have the knowledge on how these things work. The two programs are written in different code so it is a little unfair to say "why can't DCS do this because P3D can do it" When I say that I'm not being facetious it's just a fact. We can only hope.

    F15E When?

Yawn another thread on this subject. Are you this boring in real life or do you save this catatonic dreariness for your online presence only? If you are looking for some self validation for your original tedious question please save it for Twitter or something.
  23. +1
  24. Please don't start an "Early Access, it has bugs, I'm not happy spit my dummy out thread, again" That argument has been played out and won many times over.
