SPJ need manual power on @AAP especially at rampstart, a simple COMBAT push will not power the SPJ

I suggest U download the Chuck's guide(on the top of this sub forum), it's basically the FULL version for the A/C's operation manual. U can find many explanation of the UFCP there. Eg. P.U. is stand for position update.

Select WPT first and Depress SP on the AG MAP page, when showing "SLAV" the sensor is slaved to SPI.

Direct Link only activating when AOA is above normal limit, it's not for pilot to override G limitor. Also the EFCS is for emergency landing not for dogfighting.

After further testing, we found something may cause the problem. In air start missile some time the C701 remain crossed out after full alignment, so U won't be able to release the missile. If you manually select a different weapon program(LEFT MFCD U1),like AS2 the cross will be removed, and U will be able to launch. Also the miss HUD symbol is a bug too. Both the problems are reported to the team. THX.

U can select WPT01 manually, the the steering Infos should be displayed (Make sure that U have loaded the DTC first). WPT00 is used for INS alignment only,not a navigation steering point, so no steering info is displayed. TOT is displayed by ΔT format, it may not very useful for current DCS battlefield , so its still under discussing whether it should be changed or not .

Sorry, the TRK did not playback correctly on my side, I've tried twice, no lockon achievd. But I've tired taken control at about 15NM and manual track the target, this time the first missile won't be able to fire either. So I step to the next pylon, and that 701 correctly fired. Maybe there is something wrong with the mission file.

If U want to compare range, use the TACVIEW Mach vs relative time charts, this should give you a better idea. Talking the missile's range on the XXnm basis does not make much sense since launch/target conditions may vary from test to test and DLZ does NOT stand for true missile performances. When carrying 4 SD10 the A/C could barely make a speed M1.3 on burner, F/A-18 could do almostly the same.And F/A-18 itself is not a fast A/C compare to Eagle / Viper. And do remember that F18 can hit the burner for a much longer time than Jeff. When drop the tank for a BVR combat, fuel is always a Major concern on the Jeff.Also the twin plyon & SPJ can not be dropped, in case of emergency speed is also a weakness of the Jeff. Also for very obvious reason, no "REAL" performance data will be used in a civilian game, not the 120 nor the SD10, I hope U can understand what I'm saying.

Try rebind the weapon launch key, the key definition has been updated recently, some people might get the key binding issue. And watch out for not creating too much off boresight angle, try keeping the aiming circle inside HUD(or just below the HUD).

When talking about SD-10, people always concentrate on the missile has out range the AIM120. But we have to mention that range is only one aspect of a A2A missile, like our missile engineer had emphasized, SD-10's chaff resistance and maneuver ability is lower than 120C. These should also be taken in account for comparison. And JF-17 could only carry 4 SD10s with much more drag added. Personally I don't see there is anything OP ATM.

SD10 has not been nerffed or buffed these days, AIM120 may have tweaked a bit. U can compare 2 missile's performance in TACVIEW(in fact its very easy), but plz make no complaints for either missile . Personally I would say the tweak on Aim120 may not be completed, but its up to ED, no further infos here.

It seem the max drawing distance is likly around 40nm even in the 16/18's TGP. The TGP pod on the JF-17 only can make a AREA track at about 40KM(21NM), it's a limitation of the LSR max ranging distance for that pod.

Plz don't mess the bar elevation coverage with the radar gimbal limits. Even the F-18 only has a 3.3°+1.3°×3=7.2° 4bar elevation coverage

Haven't been able to review the TRK, but since your problem is always happened to the first missile... So, have U fully aligned the missile or just power on & take the shot? The missile take 3:30 to fully aligned, launch before full alignment will cause the AKG to drift according to the align quality.

JF-17 can reach M1.2 even with SD-10 stores. If you want to reach M1.6 try a clean configuration and at high altitude.

Can confirm the PP switching problem, reporting to the team. Thanks. MAN mode has no problem after inserting new RP point(30-35), SMS will automatic recognize new route and display in the window. -

Add "JF17_"before LEFT_MFCD RIGHT_MFCD CENTER_MFCD. This will give you the ability to define JF17 own viewport without messing up the F16/F18 current settings. -
Place 2 RP align with the runway at 10nm away, shoot the missile at MED / HIGH settings, when TKJ reach 0, lower your camera, the AF should be easy to spot.

Tests were conducted for AKG shot from 60 70 80nm with DIR COO MAN mode in MP CLIENT COLD START scenarios. All tests were completed successfully with no missile disappear in the middle and no losing control on the terminal.
