Don’t forget the ED missile guidance. The missile API is still WIP on the phoenix
-
Engine whine will be there. I made sure of it
-
yes, it is an F-14D. But, it’s still an F-14

That's just a DCS thing. Sometimes, the RIO can transmit to the tanker, AWACS, ground crew, etc. and sometimes the RIO can't. It's a wacky thing. I used to call "ready precontact" for my pilots, but now it doesn't really work.
-
It's a bug. You still transmit on the correct frequency. I believe it happens because someone types "128.501" in the mission editor as a preset, but 14 can't actually go on there. You could think of it as a hardware malfunction, but still provides the same purpose. Consider it, vImmersion
-
You have seen a picture of it. The wallpaper screen for the tomcat in DCS is an F-14 with the door off
-
Check the briefing. Or, you will already be on the proper frequencies. There isn’t a way to find frequencies on the F10 map. But, I think with easy communications on, you can see AWACS and tanker frequencies next to their name in the radio menu.

Jester Lantirn is already coming, not sure what you mean by jester IFF, jester already IFFs targets, IFLOLS pop-up is an ED thing, Tarps pod is a low priority thing, time to pitbull with phoenixes are already a thing. I can't speak for HB, but some of your "wish list" items are already implemented, or not in HB's field of control

Change your contrast and brightness of the VDI

Are you spawning on the CVN-75? Word around the block is that, that is bugged on that specific carrier.
-
My group found a way around this. Have the RIO select the role on the select role screen first, go passed the briefing, and hit fly. As long as the RIO hits fly before the pilot does, then the RIO will se the wings back. The pilot can hit spawn in whenever he wants after you hit fly, and the wings will be back. It has something to do with client and the server communicating with each other.

Did you actually arm the LANTIRN on the jet? The LANTIRN has to be on the jet for it to work. Also, the buttons and switches are still clickable without the LANTIRN on the jet. In theory, you can warm up the LANTIRN before even having it on the aircraft.

Check your axis, make sure your flap lever axis is either unbound, or bound to what you want it to be.

Startup
-
Yes, that is correct

Where'd you get those? I could never find any photos that are to that quality for the F-14B Upgrade, and I actually just snagged the F-14D HUD from Ace Combat, and an F-14D HUD from a real life photo.
-
Yes, it is very much possible to mod. But, I do not plan on making a mod, because what HB has created with the F-14B, to me, shouldn't be tampered with like that.
-
The -1A for the F-14B has all the info HB needs. It contains PTID info, sparrowhawk info, EGI and CDU things, etc.
-
The information about pilot and RIO displays in the F-14B Upgrade with the PTID and sparrowhawk, is that it is classified and sitting in the -1A of the F-14B NATOPs and F-14D -1A NATOPS.
-
F-14B Upgrade had DFCS. F-14B Upgrade didn't get the new ejection seats that are present in the D.

I was curious if the select role screen will ever display "RIO" instead of "Pilot 2" as shown in the image I posted. This is a really minor question, and I expect it to be on the very bottom of the priority list, if it is even on the list, lol. Just curious.
