  1. And get some nice ground clutter and give jester a vHeart attack
  2. Chaff tolerance, I’ve seen, is pretty damn good on the 54C. The guidance problems are an ED thing. I’ve seen the guidance to be getting better and better.
  3. You mean, 1 button to take both engines out of fuel cutoff? There is already a single axis for both engine throttles, specifically for players with only 1 throttle axis.
  4. The blinking TTI indicates the Phoenix has gone active on that specific TWS track. You are clear to turn, since the Phoenix is active, but the Phoenix will fall back onto the AWG-9 if the TWS track is held the entire time the Phoenix is active. I’m not sure entirely, but the AIM-54C variant will go active if a TWS track is lost.
  5. It’s almost like Argentina never operated F-14s...
  6. Oh, yeah. It’s a “it depends” type of thing.
  7. I’m not sure I quite understand what you mean by launch procedure.
  8. It was deemed a not cost effective implementation.
  9. That’s not a D hud, that’s a sparrowhawk on the B
  10. 1 hour away from the patch, and I am curious of the AIM-54 terminal guidance problems.
  11. Iirc, with the introduction of the ALR-67 RWR, those fairings were no longer needed.
  12. Jester already IFFs LANTIRN is on the way EIG is on the way AIM-54 blinking TTI is already a thing The Phoenix guidance bugs are on ED to fix, since HB doesn’t have access to guidance AI A-6 will likely come with the Forrestal Forrestal is on the way Most of these things are either already implemented, or WIP. The WIP ones are likely due to the F-14A being the top priority.
  13. This is a common bug that has been reported. I can't speak for HB, but it is pretty low on the priority list.
  14. I don't believe that is how DCS works with chaff.
  15. It's not about disciplining the air quake crowd, or anyone that complains. This isn't War Thunder :D.
  16. One thing I forgot to mention, the sidewinders on stations 1B and 8B are also sitting on LAU-138s. Stations 8A and 1A say that they have the LAU-138, but doesn't seem to be modeled. So technically, the LAU-7 is fine, but the LAU-138 that the rearm menu says is a LAU-138 is actually a LAU-7, if that makes any sense.
  17. Bug: LAU-7(Actually the LAU-138 ) is untextured + AIM-9 fin clipping with LAU-7(Actually the LAU-138 ) Can I reproduce it 100%: yes If not 100%, how often out of 10: 10/10 How to reproduce/ description: Step1: Load either F-14A or F-14B on glove pylon stations 1B & 8B with the LAU-7(Actually the LAU-138 ) adapter with an AIM-9 Result: As seen in the screenshots, you will see the LAU-7 untextured, along with the forward fins of the AIM-9 to be clipping into the LAU-7(Actually LAU-138 ) rail. DCS Version: OpenBeta 2.5.6.57949 Video/ Screenshots: Attached to post Mods: I do not use any mods. This is really a random minor bug, which doesn't effect actual gameplay. Loading 4x sidewinders up was just my way of substituting the AIM-7 and it's guidance issues, and I ended up finding this.
  18. F-14A (TF-30) F-14A Upgrade (PTID, Sparrowhawk) F-14A+(GE F110 F-14B) F-14B Upgrade (PTID, EGI, Sparrowhawk) F-14D (Pre PTID, JDAM) F-14D (PTID, JDAMs) There is even more than that, but this was top of my head
  19. That's not how that works... lol
  20. I don’t know exactly how ED does it, but right now it’s a sloppy mess. I believe it should be the pilots client.
  21. Anyone should know that F-14 nails and an unknown missile warning means Phoenix. Regardless of what it is, it should be defended.
  22. I’m aware. I do believe the AIM-7MH is the only sparrow with his capability. Not the AIM-7M
  23. Check bug reports. AIM-54 is kinda bugged, and the sparrow is pretty bugged in PDSTT.
  24. The title is pretty self explanatory. The AI F-4 Phantom in DCS is able to "TWS" launch AIM-7s.
