I was a big CA fan.. we use to have gears! we use to have a balistic computer to assist in target aiming..I had a lot of fun with the CA module. CA ran a decent frame rate "Not NOW!. Now when you try to shoot on the move ..it's all or nouthing no middle ground with the gears.. full throttle or go to netural and use the hand break...I am NOT a big fan of this.. Why all the breakage of this module? We keep loosing ground more than anything..what the heck...I have to go back to the 123 ver and tell the entire squad NOT to do this. 124 is a unplayable update!!! NOT a happy camper here.. I know, I just don't have to play it!.yada yada yada.. We shouldn't speak our minds in the forum....come on DEVs QA!.. lets have your reasons for the breakage ...

Not a word from dev's or testers on this yet? this truly kills all CA mission to date! Anyone wanna come out to play on this one?

Great point "howie87" that said has anyone discovered a problem with shooting sam missiles where before 124 they worked just fine! Can someone conferm that the SA-13, SA-9, Avenger Sam, Chaperal can still lock up at close range and fire weapon!! On my set up this is NOT working now (124), however the SA-8 Osa is working ,weak but working!

No one is posting anything about the 124 ..(Strange, but I think I know why!) Crucification inbound! But I spent more than> 8hrs downloading the 1.32 gegs of auto update and speeds compaired to 1992 (56k in 1992!) to find out in CA the Sams are not able to lock on any aircraft flying right over head! (SA-13, SA-9, Chaperals, Avengers) just to name a few..however the SA-8 will lock on and shoot..but it has been down graded you might as well be shooting spit wads at aircraft! Tanks no longer make a lock on aircraft.. that is just the first things we noticed.. we had a fix for the CA and the rudder peddles to turn the vehicles, but thats gone now! Why..if it's not broken why fix it? I suppose the thing to do now is download a complete fresh install and then check to see if the units are working from there... Is anyone else having the same problem with the sams not locking on?

you might also note that in DCS...firing the TOW while moving will not break the wire! Is that true in the real world? Firing the MBT's gun while moving moves the smoke as it should and you can see the round impact on or near the target.

Super Response Thanks Crew...In my first post I was just pointing out a bug! The Ed forum url did the trick for me. Thanks to all.... For future referance just to help others, the path is; . Thanks to "JIB" . . Go to; [user]\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\ground_unit\joystick\ Saitek Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals, then open that file(with Notepad++) and paste the following script.at the bottom.."be sure to save before you exit Notpad++". {combos = {{key = "JOY_RZ"}, }, action = iCommandPlaneRudder, name = "Rudder"}, Vehicles now turn just the way I like then to! Also found, if you want the pedal breaks to act as a throttle, add this line to the same location at the bottom of that same Lua file! Again thanks . "Jib" . Just add it to your axis assignments of your joystick or pedals file if you want an analog gas pedal! {combos = {{key = "JOY_Y", filter = {saturationX = 1, saturationY = 1, deadzone = 0.1, invert = false, slider = true, curvature = {0}}}, }, action = iCommandPlanePitch, name = "Pitch"}, then you can use an axis to control left right movement of ground vehicles and even set-up deadzones and curves in the axis options. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=95452&highlight=pedals Any Ideas as to why...ED would NOT have added this in the first place?:doh: Another greart CO-OP completed...:)

I was playing CA yesterday and while I was in the M1A1, I was moving forward…I pushed the rudder pedals and low and beholding….the rudder pedals were turning the direction of the tank! Today it wasn’t working that way?..I tried several setting but no luck …am I missing something? Has anyone else got the rudder pedals to turn the tanks?

I'm getting the same issue when trying to use a not so old mission, The mission always worked great, in that you moved from vehicle to vehicle at your choosing...now the ability to enter the known GOOD mission is intermitten as far as getting into the vehicles. MP non of the online buddys are ever able to get in the vehicles NOW! -

As Stated throwing money at it always helps My Frame rates went to the single digit leval and made past missions impossiable to fly now with the 123....We have this great ME but, with the one step forward and 3 step backward approch...I can't express my frustration on this forum enough without getting kicked in the teeth, as to how ED keeps chasing it's tail! Muti play and squad co-op play is now non-exixtent, not many people wanting to have to deal with the growing amount of problems with the DCS and disgruntal issues that we feel necessary that are now never addressed.. nuff said for now...

Old great mission now is fubared..F-14s crash into the sea when trying to take off from CVN...:evil: Also the FC3 is hosed do to the known issues and the aim 120...

Thanks for responding Speed... What I ended up doing to get the ME to allow the sound files to be used from the ME was... 1. I had to go through one by one and add the sound files to a new file for qualified working sound files. and test with a sound to all option! 2. At that point I was able to choose the files that qualified for use with the ME... 3. As I went through the files one by one.. I would stumble across a sound file that would block the access to the New Folder that was how I was able to filter out the non-ME qualified sound file... 4. I ran across several sound files that use to work just fine but now they don't with the 123 set up.. Those files had to be deleated! 5. As stated above..after removing the sound files that prevented me from entering my normal sound file storage folder I can assign sound files to the ME 6. If so much as 1 sound file that was corrupt, that ME folder would NOT allow access to any of the sound files in that folder! 7.What a pain in the ARCE!!!! -

Yea I think your right...my problem IS...so many to try and find out witch one is the bad one!! But by moving sound file from place to place , I do belive your right.. -

RGR that.. Looking into the ME a little more I have now discovered that I can no longer Access ANY sound files the route I am taking is 'The ME / Trigger rules / Actions / Sound to ALL (or any other sound to any body!) / The Open button" The Open button will not even open to the file list nouthing now no reaction with that button...this will put a huge dent in my mission making.... rebooting produces no advantage! The "Open" button now is "OPN" hehe OMG it's getting worse ... -

Yep ...I'm not able to select a sound file for a triggered action...The folder that I normaly keep my sound files in is unable to be opened..however..if I put the sound file in the folder preceeding the normal folder I keep them in I was able to access that file (ogg) and use it! -

Right Tyger; As told to me! You can pretty much have the size you wish..Just keep it a square! 512 X 512, 1024 X 1024, 768 X 768 ect..ect..
