Well, I have been know to be wrong, from time to time. :( Anyhow, not to send you on a goose-chase, but Lockon> Bazar> StructTable should have the values for buildings. Values for most of them are around {60, 2}. Hope this leads to something... -

I think these would fit with the service "timeframe" of the other flyable planes in LockOn. F-14A Tomcat. I don't want to hear that two seaters can't be done and that the code won't allow for it. The only reason the code won't allow for it is because the code hasn't been written yet. The two seater online training mod (using the LAN training feature) came out, what? Five? Six months, after LockOn was released? Created by guys who aren't programmers for ED. Now, imagine what ED could code, if they chose to. ED may not have time to code two-seaters, or money to code two-seaters. Hell, they may not even WANT to code two-seaters. But when they say that it can't be done, it seems like smoke and mirrors. F-16 (prefearably an early version). AH-1 -

I realized I haven't posted any of my mods on this section of the board. This updated "realistic size sun mod," precisely matches the size of Teka Teka's moon mod. This reflects reality, as the sun and moon are roughly the same size in the sky (and the reason we can have a solar eclipse and see the sun's corona). This edition is Flaming Cliffs/1.02 compatable. The problem is that Lock-On, based on Flanker, was not written in a modular fashion. Lock-On still has bugs carried forward from the Flanker 1.5 days. To continue to pile code on top of buggy code, means you will have a pile of buggy code. It's best that ED starts fresh. This way, if a major advancement is made (for example, the graphics engine), ED doesn't have to rewrite the ENTIRE game. That , in turn, means less chance that they will break one section of code to change another. -
666th_birdy, we are talking about two different mods. The mod I'm referring to is one I made a while back. It has nothing to do with FPS Fix 2.0d. The FPS mod that I made should not interfere with yours at all. I can't speak for what will happen with FPS Fix 2.0d, since I didn't write it.

This Mod Increses FPS by removing many buildings but leaving all trees. Hehe, back when FO had screenies on their general forum, I was one of the first to complain about how bad the terrain looked down low (same problem as x-plane). I don't have a membership to Area51, and I know those who have memberships probably can't talk about it, but my guess is the low-level terrain still looks pretty lousy. Even though we went a bit off topic, I feel alot of interesting information was passed along in this thread. I see that as a good thing.

No. I recall seeing a thread posted by Wags, I believe (don't quote me on that), which said anything after Black Shark is "pie in the sky."

169th_Ice PROMISED in another thread that Falcon4 fans will be impressed by the level of avionics/switchology in BlackShark. If that is true, then the same should hold true for an F16 sim, if one is made. AFAIK, ED hasn't officially committed to anything after BlackShark.

Hey Jet, I finally got a chance to try it. LockOn Launcher works fantastic!! I had people join from Ubi and Hyper lobbies, while I hosted. I did find a typo in the readme... "Description: This program will work with Hyperlobby and UBI Lobby so you can host in post Lobbies. " Should read: "Description: This program will work with Hyperlobby and UBI Lobby so you can host in BOTH Lobbies. " You could stress that the user will only have to accomplish the steps once for: Hyperlobby Fix: and UBI Fix: =========== ````====== The only other item which was a bit confusing is step 4 of hosting: "4) Host a mission in UBI. Another LockOn Launcher window will come up but say "LockOn Launcher is already running". Leave both LockOn Launcher Windows open, then click LAUNCH." The second window does not give you an option to press launch. The user has to re-open the first pop-up window to see the launch button. It is very minor, but may confuse someone... Other than that, it's all good!!! Great job!
