Gerne. Welcher Teil von... ...bereitet dir Schwierigkeiten? Oder ist es gar die Vorstellung, dass eine Bombe, abgeworfen von einem Flugzeug, im Grunde auch "verschossen" wird? Der Akt des Verschießens zieht sich bei einer Bombe nur etwas länger hin als beim klassischen Geschoss, das mit verlassen des Laufs den Weg ins (hoffentlich) Ziel auch nur noch ballistisch bestreitet. Der Teil des Baumsplitters, der nach einem Blitzeinschlag als "Geschoss" auf Reise geht war als kleiner Transferleistungsanschub gedacht. Vielleicht verfrüht? Gerne fertige ich dazu auch noch ein Begleitmalbuch an. Könnte aber ein bisschen was kosten - ist ja alles im Moment fürchterlich teuer geworden

Mehrzweck ist ein Misnomer, weil es ein letztlich Broschürenwort ist, das irgendein Anwalt oder Marketingmensch da reinschreibt. Man kann damit (wie auch schon mit der CE) AA und AG Loadouts gleichzeitig tragen und das Ganze dann "Multirole" nennen. Die Loadouts werden global die Selben bleiben. Dazu sei gesagt, dass noch ein haufen Geraffel nicht released worden ist - dazu gehören u.a.: - Super 530F - Gunpods - Barax ECM Pod und wimre der Phimat CM Pod AS-30 und Excoet wird keine einzige der jetzt von Aerges entwickelten, fliegbaren F1 tragen können. Auch nicht die M. Die EE wurde zur Luftverteidigung der Kanaren eingesetzt und daher auch nicht wirklich "multirole" eingesetzt (das wurden lustigerweise die CE auf dem Festland). Hauptgegenstand der EE war das INS, um ein Stück aufs Meer hinaus fliegenzu können, und dann auf dem Rückweg die Inseln zu treffen (TACAN und GM-Radar haben beide nicht so die wahnsinnige Reichweite).

Du solltest dich nicht so sehr im Aufbauen von Strohmännern üben, sonst könnte ich auf die Idee kommen dich zu fragen, worin der inhärente Unterschied zwischen dem Abbrand des Treibsatzes in einer Patrone, dem Abbrand von Treibstoff in einem einem Trägerflugzeug oder gar der thermischen Expansion eines Baumstamms in Folge eines Blitzeinschlags besteht.

Laut Bezeichnung (AGM-62) ist die Walleye auch eine Missile. "Missile" heißt auf Straßenenglisch eigentlich auch mehr "Geschoss"/ "Projektil" als "Lenkrakete".

You mean the Corail? No. But the Barax (ECM) and Phimat (CM) pods may be a thing. The spanish variants do have their internal CM mods in place, though.

Not myself but somebody I was on Discord with some days ago. It was the right engine with him IIRC. Also Syria (LK server, starting up out of Incirlik). He'd done a proior startup just fine but couldn't complete this one and get his engine running. Took several aircraft changes and eventually a complete re-start of the game to get the engine to spool. *Might* not be related to SC at all.

That's one of the things that also need fixin. In DCS the DEFA is currently a peashooter - when you watch IAF guncams, you'll see the -21s light up like firecrackers after a short burst. Might be a DM issue, though.

Didn't that practise die some time during the F-4D, which was more tailored towards having a crew with clear-cut tasks? RIOs were NFOs from the start, yeah. Some NFOs also became pilots later, though. One example being "Hawk" Smith. There seem to have been different approaches concerning experience levels and crewing, tbh. Some squadrons did it better than others. On many prior F-8 squadrons (or with lots of F-8 folks), pairing experienced and unexperienced crews across one aircraft wasn't unheard of: Nugget pilot paired up with an experienced RIO. Experienced pilot paired with nugget RIO. At some time, with their teeth cut, the nuggets then would start flying together. I believe VF-143 even had an all-nugget crew bag a MiG once. The Dogs weren't prior F-8 users, though.

DSCG should have Dive Toss, which according to Ed Rasimus made a young Lootenant just out of RTU bomb better than him, a Captain with a previous 100-Missions tour in F-105s. DT is similar to the A-4's radar bombing.

There's more to the F than what has been noted so far, btw. The F didn't carry MERs (TERs only). Hence the short clips of a LW F-4 carrying a MER on the outboard pylons are purely fictional (read: a-historical).

No worries - there's a lot of different and often conflicting information on those schemes out there and it's hard to keep track. That's what I thought, too. But the ICE upgrade was done in three distinct stages and not all aircraft made the step from stage 2 to stage 3. 43 aircraft just made stage 2, 113 aircaft made it to stage 3. Stage 1 was just a SLEP (service live extension programme) and the new paint. Step 2 introduced a bunch of stuff (like a new MIL-STD bus) but retained the -120 radar. Step 3 also introduced more stuff and included the -65Y radar. To go on an AMRAAM-spree, you'd need stage 3. BTW: There was a different upgrade before ICE, which was 'Peace Rhine'. It came with a bunch of new toys, including Limas, the HPC "F-15" tank and new RWR hardware.

I think they're called Norm 72 (a variation of the earlier Norm 62 scheme) and Norm 81 - Norm 83 is the Tornado green wraparound scheme: The black noses IIRC also were ICE upgrades, of which two sub-variants existed (actually three, but the first one was basicly a SLEP and the Norm 90 paint): LA and LV. LA -"Luftangriff" (attack) retained the APG-120 and hence the black nose.
