Or the F-16A... But no, there're some unmodified 9.12s still in service here and there

-
nullThen you should probably be capable of translating this And with this document in mind we can say that the SPO-15 IS CAPABLE of filtering out radar signal from the aircrafts radar. And we can assume that IRL it was either never properly implemented due to, eh, fruits of updated soviet politics and further dissolution of the country, or it was actually made workable, but for the same mentioned reasons there was no way to support the system and it quickly became partially inoperable.

I suppose I should've sent you this version of 727 But I was just saying that there were as many knobs and buttons as in 154 Done with off-topic

So, "F-35 Fat Amy" then? No, not really. Su-27 is called flanker sometimes though

What is "Fulcrum", the aircraft isn't called that, why did they even add that nickname? Will the lightning 2 be called "F-35 penguin"?

Radar losing lock way too easy in all modes.
TotenDead replied to LaCiKa's topic in Bugs and Problems
Indian capabilities in keeping their aircraft operational are quite well known. I'd assume that it was way worse in early to mid 2000s -
If the radar illuminates longer its receiving period also becomes longer. I'd say that average power would stay the same for any possible situation. And there is no sustained power, it's not an aircraft engine, you know. It illuminates at 100% power and then kinda stops working to receive and process. So, if peak power is 2kWt has Length of T and it takes 3T between the peaks the average power would be 2/4 = 500 Watt Well, people managed to learn the F-16/18 so they'll probably make it through a less complicated aircraft
-
You don't hold it. The radar sends a short radio signal with X power, then stops illumination and waits for the return, collects the signal, processes it and so on. Then sends the signal again. As you could see from the MiG-29 and spo-15 documents here, the latter is synchronized with such radar pulses. One pulse is the peak power, the very same pulse devided on its Length + all the time between the pulses is average (sustained, whatever) power It always had waaay-way more AWACS planes, so... So we probably can say that while the MiG should have cgi support, the Western aircraft should have AWACS one Benefit - probably. But don't expect it to be a MiG-29 competitor, it'll be just another mid 2000s bluefor amraam slinger
-
Yes, probably, they are basically the same missile so I mix them up from time to time
-
Some amount of 9.12As were adopted for soviet/russian use and received ER upgrades:) Anyway, there's nothing bad in making the game a bit more casual, such changes surely differ way less from reality than Kh-23 on our MiG-21bis
-
Well, ended up not only for poles but yes, exactly, why would they use other language. Talking about 29, the aircraft was inherited from GDR for german use only. And instead of making it in german it was translated into english. That's what I'm calling weird Fine, I'm sorry, but I wasn't mixing knowledge of english and professionalism so I found some irony to be appropriate. My point is written in a quote above by draconus quite nicely
-
In nato that is? So, can you consider french worse and less professional than average nato pilot because their cockpits are in french? Only a few posts ago I posted 3 images. A Lim-5 with lables in polish, a baade 152 with german writings and a L-39 with chech ones...
-
If US sold an aircraft to Germany, Italy or any other sattelite country - I get it, you fly with what you got. The question was why not build your own military aircraft with cockpits in your language. There is no doubt that English is as important to nato countries militaries as russian in WP, but what speaking has to do with your own instruments And labels? Btw, in FC3 german Bitching Ursula speaks German. Does it speak English IRL?
-
Well, people also use srs instead of discord which is better in every regard so...
-
Can't see any positives in such standardization. It only harms the non-English speaking pilots Actually, it matters. Labels in military aircraft are changed to russian, see the L-39s
