talk about getting a timeshare..

i still use the ms precision 2 and the x36 throttle..if u can imagine making those to work as one for a profile is a real nightmare..anyway that IMO is the best stick i have used(MS) its greatly precise and that exactly what i need for flying in formation..

well my response was airtito in saying that it was the heat that caused the damage not the chemicals..so it seems like i was right about it being chemical debris..

doesn't the paint have any hi-temp properties to withstand this heat??i know i heard about the air force painting it in whatever they could find,but i would think that it would be in that type of paint(and some radar absorbing properties as well).

yeah dont worry EB probably hasnt had time to play BS that much .. Trust me i know EB pretty well.. but on the other hand as a consumer(and this is the first time i have posted something on the subject of release dates) i would have to say that instead of releasing knowledge of the product i would get it half way done before announcing its exsistence so as to get a head start and perhaps release it on a date that was "guessed".. so if you dont give as hint of a project ppl wont be disappointed at its delay.. just my 2 cents..

well to give u an idea of whats going on right now...nvidia is going to release their new line of dx10 cards for budget buyers mid-late march..so if u want to save some money i would wait..i just bought new parts today and i got a 7600gt for 89$(after rebate 20$)..later on i can get a better dx10 card when those drop in price,but the new ones are going to run about 150-200$ line...im a ati user but went with the best bang for the buck which happened to be nvidia..

i have to agree thats a rafale...notice the exhaust..the gripen is alot thinner..this is a twin engined aircraft..

thats what they say about the hog,but ppl are in love with the thing..i for one like the way it looks..its different than more traditional western setups(cobra,apache) in terms of a fighting/transport/recon platform..its looks more interesting..

for all those that are wondering...there is some good news about arma..Atari will signed as publisher in the US, so we will have our crack at it come may..this is good news as there was nothing being mentioned about there being a north american release and the atari sigining came as a suprise..but if u dont want to wait get the uk version..

i actually started a skin for one of those painted su's but it was the one with the unicorn,never finished it...however those su's are being replaced with tthe 16's, since that is the 6 elt squadron.

they need to take those things over to MACCO for a new paint job, they need it pretty bad..

on the topic of an f-16 vs su30..i would say that 2 engines are better than one, if u lose an engine on a f-16 u screwed and the chances of u getting back home are very slim..at least with the su-30 u can still bring it back home, so this saves u the aircraft..and how many times do u hear about an viper whose landing gear collasped on landing?! yeah, and in terms of fuel yeah i guess u can save a little on that,but when u think about it how many times do pilots have to Dump fuel before they can land so that the gear dosent collapse? there are good points and bad points to everything, and as much as i love the viper it still has its problems, ones that can really hurt it in terms of matinence..sure the su has its problems too but i think they are not as primary to take it out of service as the vipers..

note also the new vertical fin assembly...the leading edge does not continue forward like in previous versions..the one pictured goes into a steep angle when joining the airframe..take a look..

well it looks cool but, if u think about it the angels dont fly fast enough for the wings to be sweap back..im guessing the wings on a tomcat dont sweep before 350-400knts cause the blues dont go faster than that,maybe once they will reach 450 and thats on the way down from the 6 point cross...and if they were open would play havok on flying in formation.... and that f4 looks like it was painted by a 5 year old...

thats a really nice video...really makes u feel like ur in the pit..wish we had sound but hey..i also noticed that he was flying with the left..wish there were more like this..

its a matter of politics..if you read about the jf-17 i know that this was a joint effort with China and they have split the costs of development, so that probably why and if you read here th fly away price for that aircraft is probably what they're looking at with 15-20 mil a piece i guess that not all that bad, although i dont know the exact capabilities of the plane..just like i said above politics... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JF-17 some more info of it..
