Same issue. This is with unmodified game files. Did a clean install and issues persist. eg. RBK textures failed check, deleted and reinstalled said file come back into game and Moscow is now corrupted. so on and so on. It doesn't stop.

having the same issue. and as soon as i fix one file another pops in its place. These are stock files mind you. Nothing modified. I even did a full reinstall. I really hope this is a priority.

3 years since this error has been uncovered and its still an issue? I think you guys need to address this promptly. I have over 100 worth of stuff id like to purchase through paypal and am not going to be able. Paypal is a huge company many of us use and you're denying yourselves income because no one wants to fix it. Shame

I'm in the same boat. Ive had my 34 lg since they came out a couple years ago. I love it , but i just got an oculus. i cant go back to flying the same way after using it. Its not perfect but man what an experience. I would say get the rift if you want to be in another world. If you're looking to get dual use you wont go wrong with an ultra wide. Your rig is fine, I'm running a 4770k @4.4 with a 1070.

hardware is not the problem. The outdated code used in DCS is; as it still runs on DX9 and is not optimized for the CPUs that are available. It is true that a Intel chip will run faster per core than an AMD will, and Nvidia still making use of DX9 out performs the AMD GPUs. I'm running a 4770k @4.2 with a r9 290 and the performance is not what it should be. I have a few buddies that have access to EDGE with one running AMD cpu/gpu and he says it runs great, this gives me hope for my rig.

Yeah.. Looking at it it does display a AB glitter from the underbelly,but it could be light reflection. I would believe it may have been an airplane,but i won't say thats a contrail. If anything thats a chemtrail from an aircraft, its hanging way too long from what they say was a slow moving object. This is something someone threw out there, quite interesting how simple it would be to launch off a ship. Mudrat if your looking into getting as close as possible to one your probably gonna have to mod one yourself.. the throttle from the sfs suncom is nice..the suncom f15e talon is basically the same stick the fa-18 has. The suncom sfs has a simmiler stick but only one POV hat whereas the f15e talon has 2.. best of both worlds would be to use the sfs throllte with suncom f15e talon stick and mod it using BU08836 with some hall sensors,its a bit of work but you'll have yourself a real nice stick.. other modders: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2904142/Suncom_SFS.html controller: http://www.leobodnar.com/products/BU0836/

if your going for single stick check out the t.16000, its one of the newer sticks out there non-hotas.. http://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster-T-16000M-Stick-Resolution-Flight/dp/B001S0RTU0 i personally use a microsoft precision 2 and love it,but its getting harder to find them..center play does get looser after a while. IMHO i would stay away from the x52 n so on,they have alot of stiction(spiking) problems.. Like other have said save a lil more money n get a nice HOTAS maybe CH, stay away from the cougar unless you plan on modding it.. i can't comment on any of the new HOTAS out there (g940,x65) i know thrustmaster is releasing the new warthog hotas ( 400$ ?) looks promising with the hall sensors and 16bit resolution. The t.16000 is the cheapest stick out there with the hall sensors for better precision and at only 25$ its not too bad, you can than look on craigslist for a used hotas to use the throttle from.. I use the MS precision 2 with x36 throttle.

thnx.. already went through all that,found the same thing.. I just can't justify spending on an upgrade, but been following freetrack for a while,now it looks like its time to "DIY" to make it work..

Since im on disability and make in a month what i made in a week and a half i'm looking for options that don't involve upgrading.t.. I think if i do upgrade i'll spend it on freetrack.. I understand tir2 is old but theres no reason why simple headtracking is so difficult to implement.. if it ain't broke don't fix it, at least with freetrack i know i can invest now and it'll always work with everything down the line..unlike trackir..

so does this mean i can hang myself with my trackir2 because no one will support it? I don't plan to update since it works fine with everything else i use,it even work in lockon,in FC2 its recognized and i can assign axis but in game its non-responsive..any ideas?

Well,i have to jump in here.The fact is that no product out of a box should have to be fixed/realigned like the cougar.I am a cougar owner (along with about 4 other sticks) and i can tell you that my cougar is holding my door open at this moment because i really dont feel like fixing the thing,i might get around to it when i have a few days.Now the cougar's metal build is really nice i must say,and if i didnt have to take the thing apart to fix the speed brake(which didnt work anyway after i tried to fix it) or the antenna knob(which is depressed and need to be taken apart) i might use it.Now i,personally, use a ms sidewinder 2,its a great stick and for flying formation it's the best for me,i then use the throttle off a x36 for combat(seldom if any fly that)..i also have a sfs suncom which i plan on converting the throttle to usb..But my point is that cougar has alot of problems that it shouldnt have in the first place and if your as picky as i am for regular flying,let alone formation, then i wouldnt buy a cougar,i would go with CH (although i hate the throttle) or better yet a x52 pro or something along those lines.Cost effective and the customer service cant be any worse then thrustmasters.My 2 cents.

Didnt we just resolve a similar issue not too long ago?!..ppl like this are pretty sad in taking credit for others' work,dont know how they can live with themselves.. I'm sure we can get this resolved just like the other one.

I have to agree with Colt on the issues of FM/cockpit mods being possible.I dont fly combat in lockon,but i do fly for the VBA and a bug pit with FM and half-flaps would be very much appreciated.
