It should work if everyone call inbound, but you may try to add every aircraft as a seperate group. It might work.

Its kinda weird that every one has described something different from each other.Maybe we should post our tracks and get an idea whats going on.I will post my track tomorrow.

I also experience excessive nose-up instead of nose-down when burble kicks-in.

1- Push times (Expected approach time) are also managed and given by CATCC just like marshall stack and ideally with all aircrafts depart from their marshall stack with 1 minute seperation. However in reality it all depends on the traffic, there might be bolters, bad weather, low fuel state etc. Therefore EAT might be changed for aircrafts in stack.( In DCS it always assume perfect condition and EAT does not change after.) 2-Yes, 4 ship formation has to be split into 2 flight. If its not still not clear ill be happy to help for further questions.

First of all lets start with marshall stack.Lets say it is 23 nm 8000 feet 180 radial and your push time is 44 ( if time is 13.XX it means your push time is 13.44 ) When you arrive exactly that point for example 13.39 and call establish ( 180 radial 23nm and angel 8 ) Now you you must plan your holding pattern. You have to be at that point again at 13.44 with the margin of +/- 10 sec at 250 knot.So you have 5 minute. Most of the pilots fix their ground speed at 300 GS which gives you 5 nm per minute and its easy to calculate. 1-Continue with your heading (180) for 2 minute 2-Make a left hand U-turn with bank angle of 30 degree ( which takes about 1 min to complete. ) 3-Continue with the inbound leg for 2 minute and you will be on time - on speed. (13.44) Ofcourse it is not easy to hit your push time on time on speed every time. This is the logic behind it and you should constantly calculate. However key is 300 GS and also it doesnt matter what your pattern is looks like you can do some zig-zags in order to hit your push time on time which is totally fine but you can not change your altitude without permission. For CASE 3 Recovery It doesnt matter if you are 4 ship or single jet every aircraft goes for different stack. For CASE 2 Recovery You can commence with 2 ship maximum, so you and your wingman penetrates the weather together and when you have visual in 10 nm continue as a CASE 1 Recovery with your wingman. BTW SC is not very succesful to recognizing flights as you said. However sometimes it detecs the wingman if your wingman is in formation close enough you can hear "holding hands". Hope it helps.

Here is the track file. -First, I am selecting every station and TOO-1/2 shares the same coordinates for each station -Then I deselect the stations and I can store up to 8 coordinates (4 TOO-1 and 4 TOO-2) -After that now I can select 4 stations and coordinates are still stored and bombs can be released with 2 pickle for 8 different targets.Thats why I am thinking there is a bug. Also auto-land is mostly bolter for me just because of the burble i think. It is really smooth and stable all the way down until burble at ramp. (All my landings are 33.000 lbs or below and wind over deck is 25-30 knot btw)

As the title say. It seems quite different from Tomcat and for sure it is going to be tweak-out soon .It kicks-in too late and too much IMO.

-If you'are facing with the SA-15 there is something wrong with the mission-plan.Hog is not supposed to be engage with the SAMs.However it is a DCS and you can do whatever you want. -Taking out SA-15 is not a big deal, you just need a masking area AGM-65 or Lofting a GBU-38 will work fine. -For the force-correlate option as Yurgon said it is not for longer engagements. When you can't acquire solid lock on target or the target contrast is too big such as building, you can use force correlate and still take the shot.

cannot reproduce Litening Not Zooming Since 28 Apr Update
Zodiacc replied to Captain Orso's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
How about the radar elevation up/down and RAID/FLIR/FOV button ? -
Currently you should contact with the approach in order to get datalink commands for commanding altitude, airspeed and rate of descend.Which means we can not use human controller for ACLS approach.

Both FOV and Zoom works fine just tested. -
reported ACLS F18 CPL Autopilot not working as intended....my fault ?
Zodiacc replied to Darkenmass's topic in Bugs and Problems
I encounter the same problem in my first try.Try not to use AP while descending etc. until 6nm and then hand-over it should work. -
When operating at night there is no aircraft with external lights on.Pilots turn-on their external master light switch when they're ready to launch ( which is night-time salute). It would be nice touch if master light switch act as a salute.

Hey all, while trying auto-land I did bolter / wave-off.It indicates on HUD and ACLS page W/O (which i believe wave-off).However after wave-off pattern datalink does not provide any guidence at all.

@JOEM423 You can designate with all of your sensors in TOO mode.FLIR, AG RADAR, HSI WP Designation or JHMCS.
-
Radio communication and discipline totally different from each other. However in DCS its kinda mix of both. Also we should have different frequencies like marshall, tower, approach etc I would like to switch between those channels instead of magic trick. Thanks

Sorry for late answer @DeltaMike First of all marshall will give you radial for holding stack. When you hit your push time on time (for example: 21:02 21nm 6000feet inbound course) you call commence and start descending then switch to the FB immediately. I dont apply any rudder at all or intentionally RW down but if it works why not. You shouldnt be slip that much because carrier is always moving towards to wind when operating case procedures. Therefore makesure you have headwind around 15-20 knot on runway. (if wind is about 7 knot carrier should be moving about 8-10 knot) If you have mark-1 eyeball on carrier use LLS and try keep amber light.I think its your best bet with your problem.

correct as is Laser timer for GBU24 keeps running after impact
Zodiacc replied to maxTRX's topic in Bugs and Problems
It doesnt matter if I box the trigger or not. After the release of the bomb laser shoots immediately and it shows time-to-lase instead of TTI and it continues to lase the target after impact.Only way to turn-off the laser is switching off the laser arm switch. -
I dont know why people advise their informal "way of flying" but it is not how its done IRL or DCS.No one need BRC at all for a CASE III Recovery For CASE III Recovery you only have FB not BRC so dont get confuse. You should adjust your final bearing exactly like marshall said.Do not add 10 degree, if FB is 030.Set your course 030.It doesnt matter carrier is moving or not.You already set your FB course to the TACAN which attachted to the boat, so you can always observe your position from HSI relative to the FB.Make sure you have proper CASE III Approach Chart in front of you it will be very helpful. You have your ICLS,HSI,IFLOLS and LLS you should benefit from all of them when needed.

Hi all, Altough ADF is pretty old navigation system, just out of curiosity I was fiddling around ADF navigation and I realize that I can tune VOR frequencies for ADF (which is weird and never seen before) on the other side I cant tune NDB stations for ADF (which is normally I should use).Is there anything wrong or missing ?
