  1. Lakatamia is a Heliport, it was a larger airfield in the past but at 1775ft you would struggle to get anything other than a Harrier in there.
  2. Theres no active helipads in the marianas at present. the only one designated in NOTAMs is the commonwealth Health Center Center on Saipan thats not modelled. I believe theres a couple other private ones based on some of the diagram work I have done, but they dont seem to be there, I think if we find any in future releases they should be posted over in that forum in their own topic rather than in Syria
  3. I tend to agree, apart from Normandy (which seems to cover a 3 year window) the DCS maps tend to simulate a specific date and in reality Nicosia has been abandoned for decades. If you were tying to build a mission where one side or the other rolled over the DMZ it seems reasonable that it would be used in a very FARP like way. I think having it as a disused site is a neat feature just like the heliports and helipads scattered around the base. I'd like to see a few more of these type of fields added by just placing down similar hardstand surface to allow jet ops. I've mentioned PIK airfield in Israel and the international Arab horse association field in Syria as examples in the past
  4. Its alphabetical in display order which is why I use a 4-digit format for my kneeboards. i.e. 7001-7199, that was 7010 is behind 7009. I can recommend the Microsoft PowerRename app as a way to do these quickly and also convert .PNG extentions to .png
  5. I'm just starting on the L-39 I notice this Geometry spike issue seems to occur with the ZA but not the C on my install. is there any fix for it? EDIT -I notice unchecking the Hide Stick option seems to resolve the issue, not ideal but workable.
  6. Version 5.0 is now released. Download from here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3311946/ All Airfields added. No Cyprus Helipads added yet. Radio Frequencies updated, I have not checked Legacy Navaids so please call out any changes. This is a large project to maintain, so benefits from community participation.
  7. File available now here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3317345/
  8. Thats Cyprus complete Ladies and Gentlemen, I need to review the legacy frequencies that have changed and will publish version 5.0 after that.
  9. LAKATAMIA, another heliport, 4 harder ones left now.
  10. NICOSIA, knocking over some of the easy ones tonight
  11. Pinarbasi First Cyprus proper airfield, 6 to go
  12. Orote is not an active field in the game at present. It has parking numbers assigned, but you can’t access them and there’s not radio so I suspect it may become active in the future.
  13. After a little messing around I also figured out how to get magnetic variation which varies between .9E at Guam and .6E at Saipan with a .06W annual change. I will correct the slides once the upload is approved.
  14. document submitted to ED for review will post the link in the first post when approved
  15. Andersen. Far too many parking spos for the main diagram so may look at some seperate diagrams in the future
  16. OROTE Field, Currently Inactive but has Parking assigned so potentially a future Helibase.
