Multiplayer SADL - A Guide

Herewith a quick guide I put together that firstly illustrates the setup of a SADL network prior to a Flight by looking at the Call-Sign, OWN and GROUP ID entries

and thereafter

Illustrating the use of the SADL network in an Operational Multiplayer Environment, specifically focusing on

A - The Creation and Transmission of Target Assignments between Players utilizing Markpoints,

B - SPI Broadcasting and

C - Instant Messaging.

I have intentionally focused this guide on markpoints only insofar as Target Assignments are concerned as I have found that it's quick and easy.

That capability is only useful with human pilots not with AI ... right?

Lets say we wont to assign targets to AI pilots for example ... can we use that capability for that purpose?

Canvassed in guide for the sake of completeness, although I could also not ascertain where it 'fits' so to speak. Might be indicative of functionality 'yet-to-be-added', alternatively something benign I missed completely (In all probability the latter). Well...we know sims are niche - we know jet sims have their own niche in the niche - we know hifi jet sims with this level of detail are a niche product in the niche in the niche genre......so, by my math, that leaves about -4 people in the world who will be able to do this effectively, online, while you are playing. Precisely the motivation behind the guide. It's easily enough done.......Attempting to persuade that Multiplayer is not the Big Bad Wolf is a wee bit more difficult :)
