ac5 Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Hello, The Mig 21 works now after update 2.02 / 30.04.2016 but I can't get read of the axis window in the cockpit and no sound is heard in external views (No not supersonic). Please advise. 1 Mainboard: ASUS Maximus X Hero Intel Z 370 CPU: Intel 12-Core i7-8086K @ 4.0 GHz Memory: 32GB Corsair DDR4-3000 MHz Graphics Card: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB Monitor ASUS - Oled PG42UQ 41.5" @ 4K 1 SSD Samsung 860 PRO 256 GB 1 SSD Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2 4 TB Windows 11 Home - 64 CH Products Combatstick, Throttle and Pedals
Flia Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Yes me too. No external sound. JanTelefon Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Same here. Also, the view from within the cockpit jerks slightly upwards every few seconds and then back down again. Framerate is good and locked at 60 FPS. It doesn't happen in any external view and it happens with trackIR bot on and off. The issue is not present in the A-10C.
Flamin_Squirrel Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Same here. Also, the view from within the cockpit jerks slightly upwards every few seconds and then back down again. Framerate is good and locked at 60 FPS. Go into the 'Special' options and turn cockpit shake down to 0%. It seems to be broken at the moment. 1
ac5 Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 OK, I'm glad I'm not the only one... By the way, Rcontrol-Enter does not get read of that axis window in the cockpit, as it does with other planes. Leatherneck? Somebody? JanTelefon Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Go into the 'Special' options and turn cockpit shake down to 0%. It seems to be broken at the moment. Thanks! That solved it for me. :) I did notice another issue though. The RSBN beacons seem to be non functional. At least when set to the channels written in the kneeboard. That may not be new however.
Flamin_Squirrel Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I'm not sure, I didn't think there were any RSBN beacons on the Nevada map?
Art-J Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 There weren't, but one can program "fake" ones into any map and "Nevada RSBN" page in kneeboard suggests LNS is thinking about doing so. Anyway, as we're talking about glitches of the latest update, I'll report that some switches on the right panel (the ones related to IFF and transponders) stopped being clickable. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
JiveMiguel Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I just re-opened DCS and I still have no instant action options. Is there something you need to do to verify installed files or something?
Zomba Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 (edited) Just reporting I have the sound, Control GUI and cockpit view jerk bugs too. The jerk issue is taken care of with the temp fix in "Special". I also notice the two IFF releated switchs are now locked. This might be intentional. EDIT: On top of that it appears contrails are broken for it in 2.02 aswell. Edited May 1, 2016 by Zomba I don't test for bugs, but when I do I do it in production.

Tornado Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 No sound external indeed. As well in the left corner (below) the mini jostick actions. Won't go away with RCTR+Enter

jeffdude Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I wish the folks at leatherneck luck fixing the bugs. I noticed today that the IFF switches do not move anymore. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
