I would like to know what aircraft mods are currently being designed. Anyone have that knowledge?

F-4?

F-16?

F-15?

MiG-23?

kfir?

FA-18?

Tornado?

Or any of the Chinese knockoffs of MiGs?

Any information, that is available, is in either the ED Newsletter (in the Updates Section) or in the relevant 3rd party forum.

If you have looked around, and not seen a mention of it, then there is no public knowledge.

EDIT: No offense intended but if you have not seen mention of the F-18C being developed by ED, then you really should take spin around the various forum sections. :)

Welcome to the forums, btw.

F-4 is currently not known to be in development.

It's a public secret that work was put towards developing an F-16.

But the current status of the F-16 project is unknown.

A third party developer named Belsimtek has stated some interest in developing a full fidelity F-15C [source at the bottom] but it is currently not known wether they have decided to develop it or not.

A third party developer named RAZBAM has stated they are actively developing an F-15E module. The latest news is that the project is on hold while ED implements certain technologies to the core simulation like A2G radar.

MiG-23 and Kfir are currently not known to be in development.

ED themselves is developing an F/A-18C. A lot of images can be easily found on the web and on this forum. It is still hoped the module will reach early acces state this year still.

There are only rumors that a Panavia Tornado might be in development by VEAO (Denied), RAZBAM or Polychop.

No Chinese Chenyang, Chengdu or designs from other manufacturers are known to be in development.

Just to clarify, are you talking about mods as "modules" or as "modifications"?

Currently there is an A-4 mod in the works by the community for example.

Talking about future Modules (i.e. DLC) at least the following are in the works:

F/A-18

F-14

and Viggen.

There are probably others but I tend to not remember every bit on the forums.

The list at the link below is pretty good at showing what's coming up, it's unofficial so not 100% accurate with dates etc but it still gives you a good idea of what's being worked on.

I agree, this is the single best thread where all of this type of info can be found. Silver_Dragon works tirelessly to keep it updated. If the community\public has been made aware of it, it will find its way here.

If they could work on f15e, why there is very few guys force on some other old 'classified' plane?

I don't think f15e had been totally declassified or could have licence from boeing.

funny, so what's the standard? always made by guessing box?

There is no standard. Different aircraft, made by different companies, containing different equipment which may or may not be classified (regardless of the age of the aircraft). Then there are the different parts of the military that might have an interest in whether a sim version exists.

This should not be hard to understand.
