Bearfoot
I support this in principle for its realism, but REALLY hope that it can be switched on/off at the user's choice (as a Special Option, for e.g.).
IronMike
I'd need to ask Cobra if he has any plans for that, but I could imagine to get it looking and reacting really nice, it could be more effort than it is really worth it. In principle ofc it would be nice to have, but for now do not expect it please. That is going to suck if it is not implemented as a quick visual reference to slip/skid without having to look inside was it's intent and obviously worked well as it was in use for so much of the aircraft's lifespan and would assist us as well. I have seen yaw strings on a helo or two in DCS, it must not be an insurmountable task. Punk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Chefen41
That would be a nice addition, just like gliders. One just have to remember that it works opposite than "step on the ball" - you gotta press the rudderpedal in the same direction you like to lead the straw. Alphabet_Ghost
Yaw string will come post -A as an option. Is the yaw string an optional attachment on the real aircraft as well, or is it included on every aircraft as standard configuration? thanks I7-4790K | RTX2070 | Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog | 24G DDR3 | 東芝 TOSHIBA HG5d M.2 256GB SSD | Q200 EX

Victory205
Every Tomcat I flew had a yaw string. Being a Aircraft Division Officer, if they went missing, they were written up and replaced. I'd love to have a copy of the MilSpec for that string. ;) Viewpoints are my own.
