I was wondering if it were possible to have the heading bug bindable to an axis, not just increase and decrease buttons
-
Hello, first of all I would like to thank you for your great work in developing and improving your products. I wonder if it would be very complicated in the Mirage F1CE to include an axis command for the Heading dial "CAP AFFICHE", I think it would be very useful to integrate it in some rotary of our HOTAS to easily direct the flight in autopilot without diverting too much the view to the front instrument panel. Thank you very much and SALUDOS PARA TODOS! Javi "JaBo" Moreno

Thank you so much Eagle Dynamics! Now I can read Harm radar codes on my knee without using RIGHT SHIFT + K kneeboard key combination.

Hi Aerges Team! I want to say a huge thank you, for one of my favorite planes in the game. I often flyes with F1EE on 80's era servers, and even though - it's not easy, I always have a lot of fun with these flights. At the same time, everyone knows that F1 cannot make an IFF request, it only has a responder. Therefore, I wanted to ask you to add the hotkey “DECLARE” to the “communications” section, in addition to “AWACS: request BOGEY DOPE” and “AWACS: Home AirBase” that are already there. This small addition will help save a few very important seconds in dogfights, and will potentially make flying the Mirage F1 much easier.

Just humbly requesting we get more than just the HE version of AT-9, especially in light of down the road Ground Damage model improvements. I personally think having the Penetrator variants at least will be highly beneficial for us Hind Drivers in the Anti armor Role. Thanks Pics from book provided

ED, Please can you confirm whether George AI will be able to visually ID targets and differentiate between friendly and enermy units. I note to date, AI Petrovich still cannot and thus with free fire will purely kill all units infront of him. Extremely poor given MP servers and ground and newer players given if Petrovich can see it through his scope he can visually tell if hostile or not. I assume you will be using part of that code for the apache. Prior to pre purchasing the module there are potential customers that would like to know the importance that ED is placing on this and whether it wil be included on the build as a vital operater ability for the AI from day one EA. Please confirm with the Dev's and respond back to the community so an informed decision can be made. Thanks.

Hello ED, Quick question, will the movement of the ADS probes be modelled? Noticed in the introduction video that they are static. Really looking to getting hands on with "Ugly" again....this time without a torque wrench in hand! Keep up the great work!

As the title said, right now the manual does not have in the appendice section an Acronyms List. Due to the quantity of those used in the AH-64 i think it would be good to have that list for quick reference and search of those exact terms

Loving the sneak peaks, and the latest ‘rockets’ sneak peak mentions HE, smoke and illumination rocket types. Also mentioned is the future addition of MPSM and Flechette warheads. Question is, will the EA release feature the bigger 17 pounder HE warhead, the M229? It seems to be a pretty common choice for the planned timeframe. Might be more effective than the current 10 pound M151.

Hello my buddies, I would love to see the MARK button (NUMPAD 7) going out of (under development) in the F16 cockpit. What will it do? It will intantanious set a waypoind (high numbers in waypoint list) to your actual position. That would normally allow you to mark the exact position like your starting airport on some servers and f.e. your buddy got shot down or to mark an unmarked SAM or AAA position You can always send the coordinates to your buddies without F10 card during flying. Safes you some fingerwork when flying into enemy terretory I am honest, I dont know how complex it is to implement. But if it is not too hard to do please do it. Its a small feature which has a great outcome on all servers with more realistic circumstances like BF or 104th. BR, MoccaLG

I thought for sure we would finally get trial access to the AH-64 with the 2.8 patch. No a big shocker, I was wrong yet once again. Lol. I never buy a module without trying and I am dying to get my hands on the Apache. WHEN?

Do we know if the wipers in the Apache will actually have a wipe the rain away effect, its been done in so many car racing sims for a long time and a couple of other flight sims, at the moment its looks pretty bad watching them move when static and its raining on the glass.

In the DCS Roadmap 2021 announcement from a few weeks ago, ED released an image of the Apache cockpit. I noticed the fuel page on the right MPD showed an internal auxiliary fuel system (IAFS) installed (highlighted areas in second image). I'm curious as to whether this is the version that allows 100gal of fuel with 300 rounds of 30mm, or 130gal of fuel with 100 rounds of 30mm. On that note, I'm hoping they also include the option to carry the 230gal external fuel tanks. I know they weren't meant for combat use, but there were instances where 101st AH-64A's in Afghanistan and 3rd ID AH-64D's in Iraq needed the additional range, and carried them anyway. I can see the desire to carry more than 300 rounds of 30mm internally, and decide to trade a rocket pod for the additional range of an external fuel tank, as in the example below.

Pretty simple wishlist item; the ability to toggle between the HMD monocle and Night-Vison Goggles. Similar to choosing between HMS and NVGs in the Ka-50, except in this case you can swap between them in-flight without the use of ground crew interaction. Flip helmet display unit to the side, drop NVG's down, and vice versa.

This is a great way to infrom everyone precisely what this module will have at early acces launch

And have it so you can press command fire once to make George turn on the laser, and press it again or simply deslave to have George turn off laser. This way we can have George laze objects like buildings or bridges.

Will it appear automatically after some more uploads?

I know trigger guard is there in real life, but even Casmo said in his video you only need to lift it with your finger (spring loaded) and pull the trigger. THis extra function and pushbutton (now in the game) to lift the guard to be able to fire is a bit overkill I think, and more importantly takes away another button from other, more useful joystick functions especially for those, who do not have the most sophisticated HOTAS with a ton of buttons on it. Thanks for looking into it.

Having come from the KA50, the Huey and the Hip, the various Trim Reset buttons allowed the trim to recenter in the middle of the axis. This was INCREDIBLY helpful when you are transitioning from fast fwd flight to slow flight to enter the hover. As an example, enable "Show Controls" and follow along in your DCS AH-64D: Hold stick in a non-neutral position, press Force Trim UP (the manual calls this force trim release, because when depressed its letting go of the magnetic devices that physically hold the stick in place - your non FFB joystick cannot simulate this.) Return your stick to a neutral position. Now, verify in show controls that your stick is being held in a non-neutral position. Now, here is where the rub is.. and where many pilots (myself included) are struggling. In the KA50/Heuy/Hip, we now have a button to 'force our trim back to its neutral position' (what many are calling a 'force trim reset.') In the Hip, this button is "Trim- RESET to default," in the Heuy this button is "Trimmer reset," and in the KA50 this button is called "Trimmer reset." No such button exists in the DCS AH-64D. The only way I have found to get the trim back to its neutral position is to open show controls and physically move the stick back to neutral and then press Force Trim Fwd (release) to reset the trim near the neutral position. Could we please compromise on a factually unrealistic "Trim- Reset to default" button that we can bind, just like in the Hip/Huey/KA50, to help us overcome this hurdle? I realize the real chopper may not have such a feature (its not needed in real life), but for those of us who use centering springs on our joysticks, it makes life much easier. As always, appreciate your dedication. TJ

I think george should be able to tell the difference between a HUMVEE and a BTR in the target list. But right now they're both "APC", especially when close enough (aka within 15km), or tell the difference between a rifleman and a manpad at reasonable ranges. Though I think the classification should still be in that list for those people that don't know what a BTR is. Or whatever confusing names the chineese come up with.

There is the roll one but not the pitch one. Would be nice (also the force UP reset) https://gyazo.com/841fe93a26524ff3228cfaaddce54421

It's seem that only f18 has a pilot body. Hope ED will add it to f16.

Hi, it would be awesome when George set up his front cockpit by its own when I (pilot) start from cold and dark . I did a cold and dark start in the pilot seat. After I took off i switched to George`s seat, some systems are still turned off, the IHADSS was not aligned etc. would be awesome when he would do this by its own. regards Josh

Curious if George's lack of IFF is a bug or WIP or works as expected?
