Heyo, I was twiddling around with the mi24's engines, and noticed I couldn't get the engines to idle... To my knowledge, there are two main actors on engine and rotor RPM on the ground : The throttle on the collective, and the two engine throttles underneath. After complete startup with the governor engaged, using said throttle collective has an impact on RPMs, both main rot. and engines, so does pulling both throttle levers up (emergency flying on 1 engine etc-) However lowering them to idle has no impact. (Unless you keep the coll. throttle at max) Lower coll. throttles, let the RPMs stabilize, and then hit the levers into idle and there will be no change to RPMs. The engine's RPMs won't drop below 75%, and the main rotor's RPM's won't drop past 65-64% (Unless you start messing with the engine stops) According to some random flight manuals, idle for the mi24 is just between the 45 to 65 bracket... And I've yet to seen a conventional heli without an idle option, I mean- how does it warm up? How does it cool down? Have I missed something? Is it not implemented? I haven't been able to pick apart all the manuals I've come across so there might be some details I've missed. Curious to see if y'all have experienced this.

the Ka-29 helix is sort of a mix of the Ka-50 and Mi-8, it can attack light and medium targets and also carry cargo or do CSAR, the weapons it can carry include an internal GShG-7.62 external Shipunov 2A42 (30MM) (same as BMP-2), S-8 and Strum-v / Ataka | max ATGM's = 8 and S-5 it can also carry UPK (unlike our Mi-24) has an internal bay for troops and small cargo its cruse speed is 235km and a range of 460km, its empty is 5.5t and max is 12.6t, it can carry 16 men or an internal payload of around 3t and external payload of 4t it also has 1 or 2 internal fans depending on the version id say the Ka-29 would be a great addition to the helo line up, it can carry the weapons of a Mi-24, carry the troops and cargo of a Mi-8 (for the most part) and has the rotor and gun of a Ka-50, its kind of like a hornet, jack of all trades master of none.

Hello, is it possible if someone could model the RCEFS (Reduced size Crashworthy Fuel System) on our apache, maybe use the current Legacy 230 gal tank and change its size to the smaller RCEFS. The RCEFS carries 122-125 gals of fuel compared to the old Legacy fuel tank which carried 230. here are images of the RCEFS. Would love to know if we can get it modelled.null

Hello Pilot, I'm a new player on chopper (in my team we name helicopter = ventilator ), i really enjoy this module, i think it's under estimate. What we can really expect with BS3? Well apache is coming too, i know it's a big debate beetween KA50 and people don't want to see a KA52, to be honest i don't really matter, about number, i'm not focus 100% fidelity or 90 % Igla ? why not , it's like sidewinder or A10, you take it because you can but when are they usefull ? MWS, OK it could be cool , usefull not a best deal but ok enhanced cockpit what doest it mean ? Only visual ? or a retrofit ? "expand gameplay", for me the only real thing needed is night pod, the Ka-50F exist. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamov_Ka-50#/media/Fichier:Kamov_Ka-50_in_Moscow.jpg In term of upgrade A10c to A10C II, just the Scorpio helmet do all the job and yes the upgrade is worth it, in term of quality of life it's a huge plus. AA capacity/MWS ? meh What do you think ?

I'm all but certain that this has already been thought of and is on the radar, but I'll bring it up anyways: will we get the option to remove the FCR from the aircraft? I'm assuming it will be a check option like the F-14A/B's LAU-138 rails, so mission creators can remove the FCR from a particular aircraft/slot. In addition, some aircraft retain the de-rotation collar while others remove it entirely, so I would also request an additional option to add/remove that little part as well. D-NR/WO, no de-rotation collar: D-NR/WO, with de-rotation collar:
