  1. Bignewy I dont know if you guys have realized but the newsletter and tease has only caused confusion for most of the people interested in the Iraq map. Its great news to hear ED is making Iraq but a lot of us would really love to know what exactly are the plans for ED when it comes to any of this. You guys mention Baghdad as being the main focus of initial release? Baghdad had barely to no importance to the Global War on Terror because most if not all of ISISs operations were in Mosul or Areas outside of Baghdad so it doesnt make any sense on why the center of initial release is Baghdad, It would be really appreciated if you guys could add more context or explain more on what the plans are for this map because what you have posted on the newsletter has caused a lot of questions and confusions. Are we going to get Kuwait? Saudia Arabia? Persian gulf? Qatar? Are any of these being planned for ODS or OIF and even GWOT because if you want to recreate an accurate Iraq map those countries would be an essential aspect of Iraq. Without any of those countries the map is going to have no purpose when it comes to past and current military operations as most of them were operated from outside of Iraq. The teaser causes even more confusion because ED ended up teasing just mountains, what mountains are these in Iraq are we seeing Kurdish/Northern Iraq? does that mean Iraq is going to have a Northern part of it planned? that doesnt fit any of what was mentioned in the newsletter, or are these mountains areas OUTSIDE of Baghdad again doesnt fit what was said in the newsletter? Has ED planned Iraq out correctly or is ED just winging this in the hopes it makes people happy? A lot needs to be clarified because none of this makes sense. You guys promise the southern parts but what southern parts? You mention no map size too. I really hope you guys could share more insight when it comes to something like Iraq which again has been asked to be added to the sim for years now all of us know ED cant share too much because it is a tease but at least clarify some of the questions asked here in this message and forum and out like the discord.
  2. Recently been doing some research around some of the Devs of DCS and found out that Polychop the OH-58D Dev is planning to make the JVMF as an option to be used by the Kiowa Warrior, Id like to know if ED plans on ever bringing the JVMF on board on the AH-64D as now they plan to make the US Army CH-47F which also uses the JVMF and with maybe plans of a future UH-60L/M we could see JVMF for that too. I think it would be a good idea to have JVMF added for the Apache for the KW and Chinook as it would be the perfect way to message the helicopters in such an environment like DCS. Again these plans could be added to the end of the Apaches development plan as I understand a lot of things are being worked on right now with the Apache. Regards, Yuto
  3. Its been a year since the last time anyone has asked for the IZLID. Any news on this topic? the OH-58D from PC has recently been confirmed to get the IZLID on their module and even showcased in a video. So I was wondering if now would be the time to add the item to the list of things to do for the AH-64D. Again as has been said already public info of the IZLID being on the AH-64D During 2007 is available on the TC-1-251 dating 2007. Would love to at least have it a low priority task and have it get added at the end if we can make that happen. Regards, Yuto
  4. spud got an amazing video out
  5. hopefully its as good as Syria or even better when it comes to performance, if its worse my laptop might end up exploding xD
  6. are we expecting the release of Sinai in the next update? with all the new videos and ED announcing an update soon, does that mean Sinai is coming on the 12th?
  7. Hello, would like to ask if ED is planning to add the 3D EYE function on our TSD Page? would be cool to see it happen
  8. Hello, is it possible if someone could model the RCEFS (Reduced size Crashworthy Fuel System) on our apache, maybe use the current Legacy 230 gal tank and change its size to the smaller RCEFS. The RCEFS carries 122-125 gals of fuel compared to the old Legacy fuel tank which carried 230. here are images of the RCEFS. Would love to know if we can get it modelled.null
  9. Hello! id like to know if we could somehow get anyone to model the AMASE pods onto the wingtips and try removing the ASPI or making a 3D model where the ASPIs are removed, a lot of people would love such a feature/option to use but ED is sticking to an American apache, the AMASE Pod is only being used by the Dutch air force AH-64D and the ASPI is the upwards exhaust which again is only in use by America. Would love an answer to this question.
  10. Hello! I have a request, I've looked at some apache pictures and some have their pylons removed while others don't, I think people would love to get the option to remove pylons, just like in other DCS aircraft, hopefully ED does add this option as it does help with simulating more correct payloads for current and future terrains/theaters.
  11. been flying the apache none-stop before and after the update and i can tell you this feels different to what it used to be, it doesn't feel right, probably because I'm not used to such behavior, I've seen other people tend to also complain about the apache being too sensitive on the roll now that the new OB update is out it seems like the Helos FM has gotten worse in a lot of aspects and some ED team member has mentioned that the changes in the new OB update are an accidently release and were not meant to be released so does that explain something? either way good luck with the hotfix, hopefully everything turns out as expected.
  12. that might be the issue, but while trying to hover even after taking off the helo still rolls to the right, have tried trimming it, it fixes the issue slightly, but the helo still rolls to the right, same exact conditions you see in that video. My main question is why has this not happened before and only after the update? im assuming either it was meant to be like this with the new FM changes or there is a bug. it could be what shagrat posted the "tailrotor Vortex Ring State" might be the issue, but with or without yaw input the helo still seems to roll to the right for me, have flown it with and without trim, still the same issue.
  13. AH-64D Right turn and weird movements.trk here you go Bignewy, track file in CAU, no mods, 0 wind, no weight changes and its the same result
  14. Have been noticing a weird pattern with the apache? Been flying it lately and i decided to test something, as soon as i apply torque and take off the helo has a lot of right roll, it keeps turning to the right for whatever reason. I turned the control indicator on and decided to only apply torque without any HOTAS movement and the apache started turning to the right and doing very weird maneuvers, I'm very sure this isn't realistic and it wasn't like this before the new OB update, is it actually like real life? because i dont see apaches doing right turns this violently during take off. Would love an explanation
  15. have had this happen to me more than once, had it perfectly set at 100 feet and it kept going up and down after several minutes until i hit the ground and crashed, it seems like the alt hold mode is having problems with the new OB patch, hopefully a hotfix releases soon.
