Or people could make some multiplayer missions restricting weapons to the mid-late 1980s so the 2000C has a bit more of a chance.

Having some missions like that would be more fun generally, personally I don't find trying to dodge endless waves of 120s all that entertaining.

i saw the 51st had a mission this last weekend

80s loadouts only

(SARH + heaters)

i had a great time!

(extra bonus ----- they also subscribe to the "red is RED, blue is BLUE" theory - ie.. US/NATO = blue, WARPAC = red)

Can a razbam member confirm or deny that mig-29 will be ported on DCS?

I know F-15E will be but what about the mig-29?

No Mig-29 from RAZBAM for DCS, you can expect an extremely detailed one for FSX/P3D thou from M2M

So now I know now next dcs fighter from razbam is F-15E.

well id rather have the Harrier then the F-15

And if not the Harrier then the A-7 Corsair.

And if not the Corsair then the A6 intruder.

And if not the A6 even the F-102 Delta Dagger would beat the F-15E on my wishlist =P.

And thats just the list of Razbam FSX aircraft.

Hell id even be ok with the Convair F/A-201A Kestrel...

Just make it a Single engine aircraft Razbam (or the A6)

Capiche?

Next one might be Harrier II, they said.

I looked that link over several times, I see nothing but 2 Mirage 2000C screenshots and some encouraging comments. Looking over their facebook page in general didn't yield any Harrier hints. With that said, a Harrier would be cool. I'd still prefer an F-5E or F-4E, but the AV-8B would certainly offer a unique experience.

How do you know?

If ED finishes their carrier + landing programming before the 2000 is finished, the T-2 might be next.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I find it amazing that there is anyone who would actually want a T-2 over a Harrier or a T-38 over an F-5 (saw that post a day or two ago) in DCS. In any case, I suspect the carrier update is a very long ways off. I'd be surprised if we saw any movement on that before 2017. This should be released long before then.

To be honest im not fan of trainers planes.

But devs do what they want. I'll buy M2000 and wait next fighter.

Yeah, it's surprising that among those that develop DCS modules, only Razbam and Leatherneck are NOT developing a training aircraft as their current module.

ED is developing the L-39, VEAO the Hawk (with PFM/EFM pending), and AvioDev the C-101 (also EFM/PFM pending). Strange that all 3 are developing them simultaneously when there were no training aircraft modules prior to this (save the TF-51D...easy mod from P-51D).

I wonder if there is some internal/political motive? Makes sense that the 3rd party developers would consider a training aircraft as an "easy" first module, but I doubt that they are much easier. Plus, there is narrower appeal than most combat aircraft.

Any thoughts on why this happened? One trainer is nice to have, 3 at once seems odd. That said, I will probably buy both the C-101 and Hawk since I am very excited about VEAO's and AvioDev's upcoming projects (P-40F, Mirage F1, DH Vampire, Gloster Meteor...good stuff!).

Well, they're subsonic, no radar, RWR, countermeasures, jammer, advanced store management system or SMS/weapons sorting panel. I think that's a significant part of a to-do list.

Me too. I hope they abandon it and focus on combat jets. :)

Really, really looking forward to Mirage 2000! Go razbam!
