siipperi Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Erratic communication, to say the least. The campaign is not an identical copy, whoever set it up put work into it and knew his field. Wouldn't be surprised at all if this campaign wasn't just another half-baked (for another word) attempt by Mr Shevchenko. Have any of the paypal backers heard even a word from him yet? MAC Why would we? Release is months away. If you didn't like kickstarter campaign why you backed it? I wouldn't ever give my money to project that can't sell their product to me and i think they did really good work with videos.

MAC Nobody in the thread has said they've received any communication from him or anyone else saying they represent RRG. Certainly nobody who was entitled to any kickstarter rewards right away has received them either. Edit: Yeah actually they did. whoops. Edited February 27, 2014 by Paradox

Vlerkies Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 OT but, in reality, many people received P-51 keys (myself included). Still hoping I will get/recover mine from Kickstarter/Amazon pay in. They just don't bother answering any correspondence, so I can't really be bothered with them anymore. nick10 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 He should come on and make clear if this is a scam. Either that or ED should reach out to luthier and clarify
Paradox Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Well the time has elapsed now, I'm happy that nobody was taken in by it.
MACADEMIC Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Why would we? Release is months away. If you didn't like kickstarter campaign why you backed it? I wouldn't ever give my money to project that can't sell their product to me and i think they did really good work with videos. It's not that he didn't sell his product to me, I funded with $250 when he introduced the digital matrix that promised DCS World P51 keys in October. He sold all right, but didn't deliver. But yeah, why would you expect someone to stick to their side of a deal? :wallbash: MAC
nick10 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Well the time has elapsed now, I'm happy that nobody was taken in by it. But aren't you curious to know if it was genuine?
cichlidfan Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 But aren't you curious to know if it was genuine? upupandaway Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I bet Ilya hasn´t posted any new update because he´s busy hunting the guy down. His head will be presented to us in the next update. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Deedle, deedle!
bongodriver Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I wouldn't be surprised if the culprit was a familiar face on flight sim forums.
