SDsc0rch Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) It would be cool if the radio freq numbers on the front dash changed to the freq number of the entity to which you were making a radio call to. It may help the player keep track of where they sent the last radio call to, and would make those controls more than just static scenery. (Albeit very cool looking scenery ;-) ++1 !! [[ EDIT --- so, in order for that to happen ("if" the devs see that as a good idea!) that would require another upgrade to the F-15C ------- we just got an upgrade to the F-15! do we expect another upgrade to the F-15?? what's on the horizon?? ]] Edited May 13, 2014 by SDsc0rch i7-4790K | Asus Sabertooth Z97 MkI | 16Gb DDR3 | EVGA GTX 980 | TM Warthog | MFG Crosswind | Panasonic TC-58AX800U [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

blkspade Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Well, since we are on black magic voodoo.. any way some witch or warlock might be able to cast a spell allowing A2A Tecan in the f15c? so as no longer needing upgrading to mark 3: eyeballs that allow instant long tracking of tankers? I will note that if you open your refueling hatch while in NAV mode is does switch to TCN which gives you range to the tanker. Last time I checked it didn't provide a bearing, but I haven't needed to use this as a method of trying to locate the tanker for a really long time now. http://104thphoenix.com/

Vampyre Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I'd like CFT's and activation of the dormant A/G capability. Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills. If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck! "If at first you don't succeed, Carrier Landings are not for you!"

Exorcet Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I'd like CFT's With the current AI we need this. They use too much fuel. Also, the F-15E AI need to be able to use its CFT tanks. Right now it can only carry as much internal fuel as the F-15C. Pizzicato Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 With the current AI we need this. They use too much fuel. I half agree with this. I'd prefer to see ED fix the problem not the symptom and do some work on AI fuel management. i7-7700K @ 4.9Ghz | 16Gb DDR4 @ 3200Mhz | MSI Z270 Gaming M7 | MSI GeForce GTX 1080ti Gaming X | Win 10 Home | Thrustmaster Warthog | MFG Crosswind pedals | Oculus Rift S
Exorcet Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I half agree with this. I'd prefer to see ED fix the problem not the symptom and do some work on AI fuel management. Of course, but depending on how long things take, stand in solutions can be very good. In this case, we gain CFT's which have a purpose outside of being a temp fix for the AI (for the F-15E it also frees up hard points). I addressed the AI fuel issue directly in a different wishlist thread. I suggested things like an infinite fuel option/trigger for AI. Even if the fuel management was improved, an option like that could still have some use. siipperi Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 JHMCS please :) Wrong aircraft. But back to the thread. Nope, gimme f18 first...
NeilWillis Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 A furry dice graphic, and a cold drinks holder too?
Hobo Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Wrong aircraft. But back to the thread. Nope, gimme f18 first... What is it with people saying JHMCS is not on the F15C. It is. Do your research before saying wrong aircraft. JHMCS is a derivative of the DASH III and the Kaiser Agile Eye HMDs, and was developed by Vision Systems International (VSI), a joint venture company formed by Rockwell Collins and Elbit (Kaiser Electronics is now owned by Rockwell Collins). Boeing integrated the system into the F/A-18 and began low-rate initial production delivery in fiscal year 2002. JHMCS is employed in the F/A-18A++/C/D/E/F, F-15C/D/E, and F-16 Block 40/50 with a design that is 95% common to all platforms. That's a wiki linked article, but before you start biting my head off about it, just watch this video Immediately before clicking the button to play the video, you will see that the pilot is wearing a JHMCS equipped helmet. Also at about 55 seconds and throughout you can see that there is another view of a helmet equipped with it. And last but not least, Boeing talks about it being equipped on their trainers http://www.boeing.com/boeing/defense-space/support/training/commercial/jhmcs.page Sooooo, +1 to JHMCS for the F-15C.
pyromaniac4002 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Wrong aircraft. Nope. Eagle uses it too. Hence the "joint" in Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS). To reiterate and add my endorsement: JHMCS AIM-9X Conformal Fuel Tanks Do eet ED! Edit: SNIPED!
Hobo Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 My preference in order JHMCS AIM-9X NVG CFT Before I see someone say NVGs aren't used on the F-15C, go read AFI11-2F-15v3 para 3.21
NRG-Vampire Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 (edited) calm down guys DCS: F-15C Eagle already on ED's todo-list - with fully clickable cockpit and everything what Vincent asked in his opening post 2016 is a probable release date, maybe sooner maybe sooner than the DCS: F-18C Hornet comes so no facepalm library requesting here :D Edited July 9, 2014 by NRG-Vampire
