Yep i was about to say this, that feature is one of the worst things AMD could have added to the driver, all it seems to do is ruin the edges of text (if you really want decent morphological filtering try using the SMAA feature of SweetFX, you can at least control the amount of text corner rounding in the settings file)

Greetings!

of course it's a default off at me

anyway, thanks for the helps guys, i just solved the problem however i did not change any settings in ccc but after i checked my properties/digital flat panel/scaling options i just realized the install changed the scaling option 2 steps left to underscan from 0% overscan  f**k :wallbash:

so now iv got my razor sharp screen back :bounce:

I am so pissed off right now... I've been trying to setup 6 monitors using 2 video cards (HD7970 and R7 240) and all I'm getting is rubish...one monitor (on R7 240 that's connected to HDMI port via VGA adaptor) keep reseting its position and resolution every time DCS starts (when it switches/turns off screens when loading, or windows restart)... I am going nuts.

Why can't these bloody programmers make shit that once in time just f**ing works!

So I'm gonna have to try this beta driver but I am certain it won't help (I can't remember last time that I had driver update and that it helped some issue.. it's always either no difference or some new shit is broken... what rubish AMD has become.. or maybe always was)

How are you trying to set this up? Eyefinty+1 on the 7970 +2 DCS isplays on the other?

I have 4 Screens in my 7970 Lightning + 2 more on my 7950.

All using MiniDP to DVI Active Adapters from Startech.

I Currently Run Eyefinity + 1 Extended on GPU0, and 2 Extended on GPU1. (HDTV and Video Editing Preview Output)

Though I don't use the 2 on the 7950 for DCS. or any other game, as other games turn on XFire with disables the outputs on the 7950, and I've never tried for DCS.

Also I was able to Run all 6 screens from my 7970 Lightning (4x MiniDP To DVI, and 2 DVI Screens), and Setup a 5x1 Portrait Eyefinity Array+1 Extended (HDTV). My issue was the difference in frame timing between DisplayPORT and DVI/VPU Timing Pipes caused tearing on the DVI Screen in the Array, which can be fixed by adding a MST Hub to get 6 DisplayPORT connections. But I'm sitting back waiting for Oculus Rift.

For Non Gaming 6 Screens in Extended Mode works perfectly w/ Mixed Connections.

As for Switching Off, When I reboot, Only 2 of 4 Screens are enabled on the primary GPU as the Mainboard Post/Windows Loading screen uses VPU Display Timing Pipes, once the driver is loaded, screens return to the profile I was using when I rebooted.

Yes, 3 in eyefinity on HD7970 + 1, then remaining 2 on R7 240.

I installed the new beta driver and it seems to work bit better, it stopped resetting resolution and position of one of the monitors.

I have found though that exporting radar in FC3 makes gave very stutters... Using only 3 monitors in eyefinity and game runs much smoother...

Are you exporting DCS Elements (Radar, RWR, HUD, TGP, etc) to screens connected to the Secondary GPU?

I tried to run Helios on it's own GPU, and it was a huge impact on FPS, so I moved the Helios Screen back to the 7970. If I exported anything to a display on the 7950 I had FPS hits.

I tried exporting only the radar in F-15C and Su-27... that's it... but as things just don't work properly I got the shits and just took the secondary card out, disconnected the extra 2 monitors and then sadly when I tried setting up everything back with 4 monitors on single card, something happened while I was enabling eyefinity... monitors would just never turn on and machine would keep crashing and rebooting... eventually I just couldn't be f***ed any more trying to sort it out, I went all out and reinstalled Windows... now I am in process of setting up everything back... what a pain

I think I will never again try to use 2 video cards, just too much trouble and issues... I so hope Oculus Rift lives up to expectations... if it does I will finally ditch these multi-monitors... just too much trouble

updated driver that contains the new FX7600P APU Info. as well as other APU Updates.

Asder also stripped Chipset and redistributable packages...

Might do a DLL Comparison after inflating DLLs manually, I've always been skeptical when it comes to installing drivers that have been INF modified.

at least we always have the injection method, to allow a sanity check. Inject first, before you commit!

Any differences?

I'm bout to go through and let windows install all it's updates (i usually wait a week or 2 to see if any have issues before I let them go through).

Might as well do AMD's driver while I'm at it.

Well.....for DCS it's looking the same as before here, 0 differences in terms of FPS versus the earlier 14.6 driver (again a good thing i suppose)

the one that interested me was the increase for GRID 2, this is a DX9 engine game like DCS and seemed to gain performance boosts around the same time DCS did so......

I'm having an issue with 14.6. I run an 3 screen Eyefinity with a fourth monitor for Helios. The Eyefinity is 3 39" TVs. When I install the drivers one or two of the TVs goes into overscan mode; meaning the picture goes past of the edges of the monitor. The overscan feature is grayed out and there is now way for my to resize the picture. I've tried several times to fix the issue. Diabled Eyefinity before the driver update. remove all of the drivers with driverwiper prior to installing the new drivers. Unplug and replug the monitors from the card. plus many other variations. Nothing works. Any ideas?

check the overscan on your LCD, mine I think has a TV Mode, I'll double check when I get time.
