When will the backer rewards DCS World P-51D/DCS World FW190 D-9 be delivered?

As the title says.

 

Have been waiting for the DCS World P-51D keys since October, would appreciate a positive confirmation that those will be delivered soon, and the FW190 D-9 as soon as it becomes available.

Wow, Mac, I thank you for your generous contribution to the Kickstarter campaign! 8 rewards, eh? I only have 2 rewards (backed at $80 level).

 

I have posted a Support Ticket asking about ED honoring pledge rewards, mainly interested in the Alpha access (whether this will be honored at all), and also DCS:World Dora that I selected as a reward.

I would expect to hear something in ED's July development update. Until then, dont assume anything.

In fact, I do assume ED to honor the rewards promises (as announced by Wags). Without their backing of the Kickstarter and DCS WWII, I wouldn't have backed. About the backed amount, it seemed a fair deal at the time at 6x2 flyables in DCS WWII and 8 aircraft keys for DCS World, coming to $12.50 a serial.

 

Obviously won't use all myself but look forward to distributing to friends who otherwise might not have tried.

Well, since Wags pointed out that the collected money went into the development of planes for DCS World and WWII to be distributed by ED, if Luthier had any sense he would have ensured he's going to be indemnified by ED for the promised rewards (i.e., ED has not only assumed the management of the project but also the responsiblities towards the backers).

 

Otherwise he remains contractually obligated to each backer to fulfilll the rewards or refund them.

I have a feeling Luthier overestimated Oleg's presence in front of that fireplace. He must have thought he was going to have to wade through easy millions by the end. That is why it didn't matter that those rewards were ridiculously generous and that it would come back to haunt him. Seriously, he had to know by the end of KS he had bent backward to shoot his own butt and the first thing out the door was his passion. Now it came back to haunt ED.

 

My heart breaks for ED, man. Whatever they decide, they ain't getting out of this one without getting chin-checked. :(

hell - i'm buying the Dora now and will gladly wait to see if the backer rewards are honoured.... no biggie, it's a bottle of wine in terms of cost so why penalize myself agonizing over the unknown and deny my ability to play one of the greatest birds in one of the greatest sims?

ED are a class act for standing behind the WW2 project and honouring pledge rewards.

This news makes me think we may see some changes in the plans for DCS WWII as a standalone game, or a big overhaul of the rewards.

A question : will we be able to use this plane in DCS World ?

 

We could have the key but only for DCSWWII game. So not being able to use it in august even if we got the key.

As its ED's project now, I dont think you will see any separation on the keys now, but they havent stated that, but it makes more sense that you can use it with both.
