Celestiale Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Another question from a (possible) DCS newbie. Worked myself through the Hompage and the Forum but didn't find the answer. If i purchase the seperate Dora and Mustang packages now, will i be able to fly them in WW2 as soon as it get's released? Thanks in advance

txmtb Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I'm not sure if the Normandy Map will be a freebie unless you were a backer. Maybe SithSpawn has some input on that. Celestiale Posted August 6, 2014 Author Posted August 6, 2014 ok, purchasing the map is no problem. Just wanted to be sure, that i wouldn't have to buy the planes again.
ericoh Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Thats what my wife says... minus the thanks part :P lol man. :megalol:
ED Team NineLine Posted August 6, 2014 ED Team Posted August 6, 2014 ok, purchasing the map is no problem. Just wanted to be sure, that i wouldn't have to buy the planes again. Nope, DCS WWII will be inside DCS World.... unless you want to buy the planes again, you are more than welcome to :) Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Llucmk Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Nope, DCS WWII will be inside DCS World.... unless you want to buy the planes again, you are more than welcome to :) i hope that the price of the map won't be very expensive... I don't want to buy a map for the same price as a recent module...
ED Team NineLine Posted August 6, 2014 ED Team Posted August 6, 2014 i hope that the price of the map won't be very expensive... I don't want to buy a map for the same price as a recent module... Well the development time and detail will be as much as an aircraft, not to mention AI units and such... I would expect it to be atleast 40 bucks.... Focha Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Since DCS World is free and you guys are making new ground units, it's fair to release it for a fair price. Work isn't free. Best of luck for the project. ASUS N552VX | i7-6700HQ @ 2.59GHz | 16 GB DDR3 | NVIDIA GF GTX 950M 4 Gb | 250 Gb SSD | 1 Tb HD SATA II Backup | TIR4 | Microsoft S. Kelevra Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 (edited) I agree I'd rather pay 50 bucks for a map well done than a free map of emptiness... Good work comes at a price and it aint cheap. Edited August 6, 2014 by Kelevra
Celestiale Posted August 6, 2014 Author Posted August 6, 2014 also agree..especially when the map is filled with AI bomber formations, ground units, trains, ships and so on, that there will be a lot of diversity. can't wait. Reichsverteidigung with end war planes has ever been my favourite WW2 scenario
