mytai01 Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 (edited) Where are the external engine sound files for the MiG-21? Anaglob Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Dear! With sounds that something needs to be done and urgently! The sounds of the engine, gyro MMC and transmission spelled out well in Sounds-Effects files, sounds great. But the module itself MIG-us references default sound any plane - bot in the game: EngineJet PlaneAroundEngine PlaneBackEngine PlaneAroundEngine You need to make the correct LOCALIZATION of sound files, sounds MIG-21 that lie in the module itself. That would be great!

Realizm Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Where are the external engine sound files for the MiG-21? The external engine sounds from the front of the aircraft are practically non-existent! Perhaps this should be filed as a Bug report? Same here, I have no external or internal engine sounds. The afterburner sound does work however. Patch after patch, no fix. I'm starting to wonder if only a select few of us have that issue. I'm using the onboard audio (realtek?) on my EVGA Classified X58 (E760) if it makes any difference.
S-GERAT Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 I have the same problem too, and it even change with every patch. Before the yesterday patch, I can't hear the wind inside the cockpit, and now I hear it again, but not the engine sounds.
Anaglob Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Now everything works! The module began to work with his sound. Excellent!
Santi871 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I believe the sounds dissapearing in ext view from the front is meant to represent the sound waves travelling behind the plane.
CoBlue Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 (edited) New in cockpit engine sound, grate job guys! I like it very much  Edited January 10, 2015 by CoBlue i7 8700k@4.7, 1080ti, DDR4 32GB, 2x SSD , HD 2TB, W10, ASUS 27", TrackIr5, TMWH, X-56, GProR.
cquail Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 After the latest patch (which from what I understand DCS snuck some Mig updates that weren't ready) the engine sounds are horribly distorted at the 80-100% range. Idle and burner sounds are okay. The high power settings sound far to loud and quite distorted. It's very unpleasant to listen to on a long flight. Other members of my squadron noticed the same thing. I assume this a bug.
Manuel_108 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I agree, sounds kind of unpleasing, although I'm glad to hear the engines finally. :D
