"Kneeboard Current position Mark Point"

And

"Lighting Cockpit Panel Switch"

Both share the same keyboard command, which is (RCTRL+K)

Now I have cleared both of these commands and selected "Default' just to check and the Defaults will both plug (RCTRL+K) back in. Now I know a simple solution is just to customize a keybinding that is not currently in use and be done with it. But, when I clear both entries and just have "Lighting Cockpit Panel Switch" as (RCTRL+K) and press ok,, it works, but when I exit out of the game and restart it and bring the options menu back up, the keybind is empty? It simply does not save? What causes this please?

How long does it take before you should get a response?

I'll chime in, to at least let you know SOMEONE cares lol. I don't know about your issue, Ill have to double-check your commands, but I HAVE experienced something similar. When I started DCS for the first time in about 6 weeks, my cannon trigger was suddenly the same as center view, so this IS a thing somehow.

I can confirm that I have these duplicate key bindings as well. I think the Kneeboard was added with the UH-1H Huey (at least I never heard about it before the Huey was released), so that's probably why a key was assigned (and overlooked) that was already in use with the Black Shark.

I haven't checked on the problem with the key binding not being saved and don't know a solution to that, sorry.

There's another problem with duplicate key bindings because LShift + r is "Restart mission" in most modules and is also "Release rotorbrake" in the Ka-50, potentially leading to unintentional mission restarts. That's annoying... :music_whistling:

I can confirm this. It was super annoying after finishing a long mission and landing to inadvertently restart it by trying to activate the rotor brake using the listed key command.

But, while on the topic, I think the Ka-50 key commands need expanding - all the switches are toggle switches currently (e.g. no separate key commands for different positions like on later modules) so it's impossible to know at what position they are without checking visually. This really sucks.

Everything is said, so +1 for the duplicate keys issue and the 'replace the toggles!' as well.
